Coreena ‘Collabs + Remixes’ EP Review
Coreena is a multi-talented artist. She’s a producer, singer, and also a songwriter. She has an independent nature that’s very admirable to witness through her music. However, on this occasion, she decided to work with collaboration of other artists for her most recent EP ‘Collabs + Remixes’. You’ll experience the nature of electronic music on these three tracks.
Here’s my track-by-track review:
1. Into Air – Collaboration, this is very 80’s synth-driven and reminds me of open air, one of my favorites. Electronic pop, but mid-tempo and beat-oriented.
2. Love Repeat Remix – A remixed version of Coreena’s original “Love Repeat” from her first EP. The feel of this song is very organic and earthy, haunting with sparse elements of electronic music.
3. Someday – Rhythmically unique and somehow blends a future sound with tribal indigenous overtones.
