ZeeX 'Dizmantled' EP Review
This is the first time I review an entire EP from the up-and-coming Dubstep producer ZeeX. In this blog, his music is best known for its bass-heavy richness with a mixture of dark, filthy and gritty elements. But I want to say more than this on his ‘Dizmantled’ EP.

Featuring a total of 4 tracks, ZeeX offers an interesting take on Dubstep. Overall, you’ll hear impressive kicks and tension that lead to massive drops. Well, I think this is his magic formula to blow up your speakers! Read more below.

Here’s my track-by-track review of the new EP:

1 – FL3SH It all starts with a very robotic sounding due to the inclusion of the vocoder effect. The beat-driven electronic track comes to life after you hear the words “MY FL3SH”. The bass reveals an industrial/mechanical sound that is very signature from ZeeX productions.

2 – Crowbar Drill My favorite part here is the electric screwdriver sound effects, the last time I heard a similar sound was on Benny Benassi’s hit “Satisfaction”, but it has nothing to do with ZeeX’s production. In fact, he makes the difference with the explosive Dubstep breakdowns, which eventually create multiple eargasms.

3 – Turn Up The Heat (feat. Metaled) Fans of Heavy Metal will praise this track, as it seems to be a Dubstep-Metal hybrid. So, guttural growls will definitely surprise listeners throughout the song. It’s an innovative element and I like how ZeeX pushes his art and experiments with new things.

4 – Tear It Out There’s a cool Rock vibe due to the killer guitar riffs without losing the essence of his productions that is, of course, electronic music. This track grows on you as the drops are filled with so much energy. And of course, it will give you a good dose of adrenaline!!!
