MAXIMALS Collaborates With Bout & SOVTH For Upbeat New Track "Fall In Line"
Protocol Recordings veterans MAXIMALS have returned with another danceable, uplifting gem entitled “Fall in Line,” which is an impressive collaboration with a total of six other artists. The duo teamed up with fellow Italians Bout and SOVTH and American singer Nino Lucarelli on “Fall in Line,” which highlights MAXIMAL’s vintage disco influences with an energetic bassline and Lucarelli’s velvety vocals. “Fall in Line” embodies its literal meaning with a challenge against both societal and musical norms, and MAXIMALS is leading the anti-formality charge by creating tracks with a forward-thinking, yet totally danceable, sound paired with inspiring lyrics. MAXIMALS never fails to deliver on their signature upbeat, inspiring productions, and this newest addition is no exception. Having released a track together before on Laidback Luke’s Mixmash Records, MAXIMALS collaborators Bout and SOVTH are making their debut on the Protocol with “Fall in Line.”

Founded by Nicky Romero, Protocol Recordings is one of the leading imprints for innovative house music; it boasts a roster of heavy-hitters complemented with immensely talented up-and-comers, all with a diverse range of sounds that are guaranteed to light up a dance floor. Among them is MAXIMALS, the Italian duo who are inspired by the atmosphere of dance music in the ’70s and ’80s, which is evident in vibes of their tracks, such as “Enigma” and their prior single “Dancin.” After an electrifying performance at Protocol’s ADE showcase in 2016, and Nicky Romero himself named them as one of the top artists to watch in 2017 during one of his interviews. Perhaps they will be the ambassadors to bring “old school”, disco-influenced music back to the mainstream! Stay tuned for more releases on Protocol Recordings from these talented producers.
