Second Single From Nearly Native Titled “I Have Been Waiting” Is Pure Gold!
The first thing you’ll notice about “I Have Been Waiting” is its catchy rhythm. I truly believe Nearly Native felt influenced by Garage House and dark Industrial music when producing this track. Gritty basslines are contrasted nicely with soulful vocals that are gradually distorted. Quite a lot of Garage tunes like this one have broken into the mainstream over the last years. “I Have Been Waiting” will be no exception.
The artist behind this project is James Leggett who is also a songwriter. In addition to this, his debut single “Colours” also features an old-school feel, similar to the second single. So far, I can predict his forthcoming EP ‘Bonus’ will be an interesting material. Later this year, the UK producer will release it officially, so please stay tuned.
