The Most Scary Film About DJing
Have you ever heard of this spine-chilling film about a DJ who loses his hearing? It’s actually based on the true story of Kristov Masalin, a popular Czech DJ who faced the same fate due to the crazy high noise levels he encountered while performing at different venues. But here’s the amazing part: despite losing his hearing, Kristov didn’t let it end his music career. He found innovative ways to keep the beats alive!
Now, don’t worry, it’s not a horror movie per se, but imagine losing one of your senses, it’s definitely a scary thought, right? This film serves as a powerful reminder to all those DJs out there to take care of their ears while they’re rockin’ the turntables.
On a side note, this film was released on April 15, 2005, and it received some serious recognition. It won two awards at the US Comedy Arts Festival, including Best Feature and Best Actor for the talented Paul Kaye.
Not only that, but it also made a big splash at the Gen Art Film Festival, sweeping up several awards. And guess what? The whole thing was filmed in beautiful Ibiza and captured in stunning HD.
