In Review: Kasket Club – ‘The King of Cool and the Acrobat’ EP
Kasket Club finds Tobias Gautier and Mattis Syvertsen continuing to push themselves to expand the boundaries of cool Electro-Pop music. The result of their brand new EP entitled ‘The King of Cool and the Acrobat‘ is a diverse and powerful collection of 5 tracks (including the beach-side themed single “Soul Surfing”). I have to recognize that these guys are very talented, well-prepared, and are doing a fine job in my opinion. I have decided to review the EP track by track.
1 – Dream This song evokes in me the sensation of walking in a fantasy world. This will definitely hook the listener in such a way that he will want to sing it out loud.
2 – They Don’t Mind A tune that seems to have a funky direction. I find this to be an easy fun song to dance to! The vocals and the rhythm are still catchy + I do not think that anyone will complain about that.
3 – Straight West Creative track with whistles of joy and celebration! They succeed again in the Electro-Pop field. This song or any other of the EP can become a potential single without a doubt.
4 – Spark You will notice they’ve employed modern electronic production techniques on this track, and there’s a lot of diversity of mixed electronic sounds on it.
5 – Soul Surfing I believe this is the favorite tune of many Kasket Club fans. You’ll feel the summer in every beat of the music, those melodies are for enjoying a day trip to the beach!
