Die Antwoord Release Controversial Music Video For “Banana Brain”

“Banana Brain” is the first Techno Pop single from Die Antwoord‘s 2016 album ‘Mount Ninji And Da Nice Time Kid’. This tune is a mix of ravey keyboards + cheesy vocals and four-to-the-floor drums. I am a big fan of this upbeat track, and there’s a lot of controversy in the music video as it recreates an uncomfortable moment in the life of  South African Paralympic champion Oscar Pistorius, who was convicted of murdering his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.
