Get The Facts — Why Techno Newcomer DMVD Will Shake Every Dance Floor?

DMVD
Norwegian Producer Magnus Didriksson aka DMVD maintains the fundamental basis of Techno on his debut EP ‘The Anti’. The Althea Records’ label includes in their catalog this brilliant 2-track material which promises to shake every dance floor. Believe it or not, Magnus is a classically trained musician who has a passion for violins since childhood. However, the rave culture and the 90s era filled him with enthusiasm for the electronic music scene. Musically speaking, he takes inspiration from all that surrounds him, from symphonic pieces, Psytrance classics, as well as nature. With regard to ‘The Anti’ EP, I think it’s all about the pounding drums, progressive vibes, galloping beats, and the different effects and filters. Without further ado, put aside the technical jargon and let these powerful tunes move your feet!

Dark & Moody Techno, Johnathan Christian Got Remixed By Joe Letz!

Johnathan Christian
Swedish Post-Punk trio Johnathan Christian invite ex-Combichrist drummer Joe Letz to remix “Clearer”. A single featured on their third album ‘Dark Hallways’. With Techno-injected beats, the ‘Letz Be Friends Mix’ pushes forward a high energy sound. For sure, it is contrasted with the smoothness of the original rockish version. Clearly, this is a pulsating cut designed for underground clubs.

One can easily imagine thousands of people getting their hands up in the air like there’s no tomorrow. Moreover, Joe includes dark and moody atmospherics shifts across the entire remix which create the perfect tension effect. Despite there’s a 180-degree change with respect to its composition, lyrics remain intact. “Clearer” is a wake-up call to get analytical and question religion. Watch the video below.
