55,000 Views + 2,900 Likes + 1,300 Shares in a short time = OK, check this video out. I’m talking about a very bold remix of Twenty One Pilot’s hit single “Ride” by DJ Jounce that had even some of the most hardcore fans skeptical at first.
“Coming from a die hard tøp fan who usually hates remixes.. This is sick I love it, great fucking job man” – Kristyn N.
“So…… I was ready to hate it and now… IT’S ON REPEAT! lol Nice job!!” – Normita J.
“Your remix is amazing!!! I don’t usually like remixes but this one was so amazing!!” – Linda G.
“was skeptical at first but it was pretty sick” – Chrissy R.
“I wanted to hate this just like every other remix . but I really liked it” – Jasmine S.
So if you’re open minded to hybrid-genre music with the official music video remixed right, try this:
The remixer, Jounce, is no stranger to the electronic dance music scene. He remixed Drake, Adele, Steve Aoki, Laidback Luke, Chocolate Puma among others. Jounce’s music has been supported by Markus Schulz, Thomas Gold, Deniz Koyu and many more. His latest release just dropped on Beatport via LACX Music. It’s a bangin’ electro house track with some serious bounce and music fans should be just as excited about this as they are about his Twenty One Pilots remix.
Although Jounce loves the club, he’s also serious about helping others. He recently donated one of his new tracks to a compilation CD to fight Parkinson’s Disease. 100% of the proceeds go to The Michael J. Fox Foundation.

Brazilian Artist Olin Batista Debuts Tribal-Electro House Track “Falling” On CYB3RPVNK
After two years of silence while in the studio, Brazilian artist Olin Batista debuts on R3HAB’s CYB3RPVNK with his dancefloor-ready single “Falling”. The track draws influences from his roots with tribal sounds in its instrumental melodies and drum beats, while the progressive bassline swells to an electrifying crescendo that will have everyone in the crowd moving their feet. Batista has gained traction with his official remixes for Ingrosso’s “Dark River” and Norman Doray’s “All In,” as well as Daft Punk’s classic “High Life,” which was heavily supported by A-Trak, Judge Jules, Robbie Rivera, Sander Van Doorn, W&W, Thomas Gold, Kryder and many more. Now part of the CYB3RPVNK family, we will hear much more of Olin Batista’s unique and energetic sound!
In 2018, R3HAB founded his label CYB3RPVNK, a place that embraces the alternative, pushes artistic boundaries, and serves as a platform to build up new artists. The imprint is current home to R3HAB himself and a strong roster of artists now including Olin Batista, the Brazilian newcomer who has stardom in his bloodline; Olin’s parents are former supermodel Luma De Oliveira and entrepreneur/World Champion in the Super Offshore Powerboat class, Eike Batista. His heritage is evident in tracks like “Amazon 63,” which is named after his father’s boat in the Superboat World Championship of 1990.” His single “Luma,” after his mother, was released on Kryder’s Sosumi Records and received a record number of downloads in the first 24 hours. Olin has been in the international music circuit since the young age of 18, and it’s clear the future is looking very bright for him indeed.

Valentino Khan’s Highly Anticipated ‘House Party’ EP Drives A Classic Sound Into The Future
After months of teasing fans with the nostalgia-meets-modern, dancefloor-friendly concept of his ‘House Party’ EP, Valentino Khan has finally dropped the full version for our listening pleasure. The six-track collection features three new tracks alongside previously released singles including the early summer anthem “Pony,” vibey house collaboration ‘”JustYourSoul” with Diplo, and the in-your-face, sassy and sultry “Better” with Wuki. Valentino also released “Flip the Switch” with Chris Lorenzo just a day before the full EP’s release, unleashing a hard-hitting, bass-heavy opener for ‘House Party’. Tech house and classic four-on-the-floor house influences are strong throughout all the tracks, but each has their own unique sound – from the bouncy “What’s Your Name” to the driving beat of “BRB,” Valentino has created tunes that are just as good through your headphones as they are from a club sound system.
“I set out to make an EP with a simple concept: great house music. Even though it’s been the backbone of dance music, I still have always looked to drive the sound forward. I wanted you to be able to listen to the music anywhere – driving in the car, in your bedroom, at the club or played out at a festival. I also wanted to bring in some collaborators that I felt have always been pushing boundaries in Diplo, Wuki & Chris Lorenzo. So here’s my ‘House Party’ EP. I’m truly proud to release this body of work to the world. Listen to this everywhere and anywhere.” – Valentino Khan
The world was introduced to LA-based DJ and producer Valentino Khan in 2014, when he burst onto the scene with his debut EP “In Khan We Trust” on Skrillex’s OWSLA label. Khan’s sound possessed a unique versatility, incorporating elements of trap, bass, hardstyle, house and more into a driving, often heavy sound that found homes on labels such as Mad Decent, Spinnin Records, and Ultra. In 2015, Khan’s original track “Deep Down Low” became an international sensation, earning the title of “Most Played Track” of the year and topping Sirius XM’s #1 Song of 2015 on Electric Area. Since then, he has earned a reputation as a remix master with official renditions of RL Grime’s “Pressure,” Alison Wonderland’s “Good Enough,” Calvin Harris’s “One Kiss” and more. His original productions include “Pump,” which has over 17M streams on Spotify, “Gold” with Sean Paul, as well as production credits for the likes of 2 Chainz, B.O.B., Dizzee Rascal, Iggy Azalea, T.I. and more. On the touring front, Khan sold out his show at the iconic Hollywood Palladium this year, featuring a b2b set with Shaquille O’Neal (DJ Diesel) and a surprise appearance by legend Snoop Dogg. 2019 has already been an epic year for Valentino Khan, and we can’t wait to see what happens in the second half!

ShockOne Drops Drum & Bass “Til Dawn” From Forthcoming Album ‘A Dark Machine’
Just weeks after dropping the dystopian bass bomb “Run” featuring The Bloody Beetroots, Australian Bass producer ShockOne returns with “Til Dawn”, the next single from his upcoming second studio album ‘A Dark Machine’. The theme of the LP is apparent in the heavy-hitting, drum’n’bass-meets-electro sound of “Til Dawn,” which begins with a goosebump-inducing buildup complete with unnerving vocal samples that will leave you jumping at every bump in the night. ShockOne masterfully creates a musical depiction of a game of cat-and-mouse in which the listener feels destined to lose, tipping his hat to ’80s sci-fi films like “Blade Runner” and “Beyond the Black Rainbow.” The new single is out on Monstercat, which will also host the release of the full “A Dark Machine” album on August 1st.
“I couldn’t be happier to join the Monstercat roster. It’s a brand known for pushing boundaries and a label releasing some of the most forward-thinking releases for my genre of music. It really is the perfect home for A Dark Machine and excited to have them work this record to every corner of the world alongside my long term home label Warner Music.” – ShockOneSTREAM/DOWNLOAD
Since his debut in 2009 with “The ShockOne” EP, Karl Thomas has established himself as one of the most exciting bass artists in the scene. He followed up his massively successful debut with 2011’s “Crucify Me,” a drum & bass/dubstep anthem in which he also showed his versatility and talent as a vocalist; this single served as a preview for his first album “Universus.” ShockOne’s most significant break came in 2012 when he released the genre-bending, now-iconic work of art that is “Chaos Theory” featuring Corey Burton. “Chaos Theory” experienced astronomical success, peaking at #2 on Beatport, #1 on Trackitdown, and #1 on iTunes Dance in Australia. This led him through a whirlwind of touring, playing festivals such as Creamfields, the Big Day Out, and Stereosonic, and playing sold-out shows throughout Australia. After listening to “Run” and now “Til Dawn,” we have no doubt that “A Dark Machine” will introduce us to a ShockOne who is bigger, better, and stronger than ever before.
