Epwhurd Teams Up With Fatman Scoop For “Money” On Eph’d Up Records

Published

Epwhurd money
Ephwurd
teamed up with hip-hop legend Fatman Scoop for their newest track “Money,” an appropriate title for a track that’s guaranteed to be in heavy rotation at the club. “Money” is heavy on serrated synths and breakbeats, creating an intensive rhythmic backdrop for Fatman Scoop’s iconic vocals. As he quotes in the track, “Money” is sure to have everyone on the dance floor jumping. Their distinctive, bass-driven sound has gained a cult-like global following, which lead them to launch their own record label. “Money” is only the second release on Eph’d Up Records, but Ephwurd’s imprint has already made waves with the release of “Phunky Beats” this fall and more cutting-edge music on the way. Eph’d Up Records serves as a primary destination for fans of Datsik and Bais Haus’s sound to find hard-hitting music from the guys themselves and some of the industry’s best up-and-coming talent.

Since exploding onto the scene as a mysterious, anonymous duo in 2015, Ephwurd have not only revealed their identity but transformed it into a veritable lifestyle and brand. After launching their Eph’d Up Radio show earlier this year, the guys decided to create their own imprint Eph’d Up Records as a space to have the freedom to release their own music when and how they want to, as well as that from like-minded artists who continue to challenge the status quo of electronic music. After an intense summer of headlining spots at EDC Las Vegas, Lollapalooza, Shambhala and the Global Dance Festival, Datsik and Bais Haus are back in the studio cooking up some new music for their fans. Stay tuned to see what else they have in store to heat up your winter! If you just can’t wait for what’s next from Ephwurd, catch them on tour this winter in Australia through December 9th, and then back in Los Angeles to finish the year strong on the 15th at the famous Belasco Theater.

Ephwurd’s upcoming dates:

Nov 30 – The Helm – Eumundi, Australia
Dec 01 – Red Square – Adelaide, Australia
Dec 02 – Villa – Perth, Australia
Dec 06 – Argyle House – Newcastle, Australia
Dec 08 – The Met – Brisbane, Australia
Dec 15 – The Belasco Theater – Los Angeles, CA

Martone Announces Anime Music Video For His New Single “Love Out Loud”

Martone
has made quite a name for himself in the industry with his danceable music. Today he took to social media to announce the upcoming release of “Love Out Loud”, the first single from his fifth album ‘Erogenous Zone’. He started working on this material some years ago after the Orlando Nightclub Massacre. House music icons like Arnold Jarvis and Kerri Chandler inspired the artist, however, his biggest motivation is LOVE. According to Martone, no matter what sexual orientation you have, people deserve to live freely and be proud of themselves, which I agree 100%.

Incorporating his love for anime, the accompanying music video comes in a family-friendly format. Personally, I feel everyone can connect with it while listening to its feel-good melody. Hopefully, it can become the next pride anthem or even a housey summer hit in the charts. Let’s keep our fingers crossed, and expect its official worldwide premiere on May 31st. Meanwhile, here’s a sneak peek of the animated clip, take a look below.

I was lucky enough to listen to the full audio stream. My very first impression on “Love Out Loud” is that it carries a powerful message, which encourages us to be authentic. He brings back the classic House sound with an infectious beat. But most importantly, lyrics are super empowering. While it is true the phrase “Be Yourself!” is a cliché, we still need artists like Martone to help us remember that love always win. ❤️

Adam Davenport Evolves His Sound: “What’s The Matter With You” Is A Real House Banger

Adam Davenport
‘s new track “What’s The Matter With You” popped up on streaming services last week. Extraordinarily, Don Diablo, Tchami, Steff da Campo + other big names in the industry are supporting this Future House banger. I believe it has partly been successful because of the lively beats that will get people up and dance. On this occasion, the New York City-based talent takes a housey direction and evolves with a different sound which contrasts with his previous EDM productions.

If truth be told, I can’t get off my mind those bass drops, Samba-like rhythm, and vocal chops. In no time, its carnivalesque essence creates a fun atmosphere at anyplace and anytime. That’s the reason why “What’s The Matter With You” has charted top ten with the largest DJ record pool this week. Isn’t that awesome? Yes, it is! 😉

Ghetto House Radio
The well-known Californian DJ Kid Loose shares a new mixtape on Ghetto House Radio. Believe it or not, he makes his debut on the Top 100 House Music Mix Charts via Mixupload, achieving a high position at number 34. Moreover, this amazing podcast keeps listeners engaged mainly with commercial housey remixes and bootlegs. The track selection has great importance because he includes alternative versions of vocal hits. That said, it’s almost impossible not to like the way he mixes these bass-heavy, uptempo beats. I can easily foresee the masses bobbing their heads, you can tell by just streaming this audio in full below.

Tracklist
1 – All of Me – John Legend ( Samuele Sartini, Jonk & Spook Bootleg)
2 – Another – Tim Baresko & Clyde P (Mercer Extended Remix)
3 – Grapevine – Tiesto (Vidojean x Oliver Loenn Tech Boot)
4 – Nothing Breaks Like A Heart – Miley Cyrus (Zach Ruby Remix)
5 – Sexy and I Know It – LMFAO (Birds Remix)
6 – My Kinda Man – Paul Morrell Feat. Anaya Day (Haipa Remix)
7 – Macaco Mata El Toro – Nicola Fasano, Dual Beat (Club Mix)
8 – Just Release Me – Me & My Toothbrush (Original Club Mix)
