The only weird thing about Danny Arroyo‘s “Energy For Edit” is its title, but the rest is pure awesomeness. In his debut, the Puerto Rican music producer based in Boston dives deeper into progressive melodies. Indeed, melancholy patterns reminded me a bit of Chicane’s electronic music style. As a result, he creates a track with an interesting trippy atmosphere. Taking the listener throughout low and high frequencies paired with a constant drum beat. Definitely, it’s worth your attention!

Gold and Raiden form a dream team of classic and dynamic sounds, delivering a mint combination of soulful vocals, bouncy basslines and uplifting melodies that make “Someone New” an instant hit for both radio and festival play. Following his last release “Wildest Dream” with Kosling, Gold continues to use his veteran status to collaborate with young talent on Nicky Romero’s Protocol imprint. Over the last decade, Thomas Gold has become one of the most well-known dance music producers of his time. Mosimann Teams Up With Leandro Da Silva For “Horizon”, Out Now On Protocol Recordings
Mosimann and Leandro Da Silva bring the heat with their new release “Horizon”, a unique Progressive and Big Room fusion that is guaranteed to be heard at many clubs and festivals around the world this summer. The French Producer and Italian-Brazilian artist combine their cultural and artistic styles through bouncy, driving basslines, sweeping melodies and tribal elements that make “Horizon” feel both familiar and exotic. It’s the perfect track to be dancing to during an open-air set while the sun goes down and the party is turning up. In fact, the name “Horizon” was given by fans when Mosimann and Leandro asked for suggestions for the title via social media. This marks Mosimann’s fifth release on Nicky Romero’s Protocol Recordings, following “Babtoo,” “Low Pro,” “The Groove” and “I Need.”
From his early days as a famous French vocalist to his breakthrough to electronic music, Mosimann has cultivated a dynamic and unique sound inspired by the likes of Jean-Michel Jarre, Daft Punk and David Guetta. His release “Never Let You Go” featuring Joe Cleere has amassed over 4 million streams on Spotify alone, and in 2018 he was charted at #81 on DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs list. Mosimann has also been a judge on the popular TV series The Voice Belgium. He joined the Protocol family in 2018 and has made himself one of its most prominent contributors in such a short period. Leandro de Silva makes his debut on the label with “Horizon” after releasing on Spinnin’ Records, Smash The House, AFTR:HRS, Armada Music, Big Beat Records, and Enormous Tunes. He has also officially remixed David Guetta & Sia’s “Flames” and Cheat Codes & Demi Lovato’s “Solo,” bringing his dynamic and groovy sound to everything he touches. Listen To Sophia Shy’s Good Powerful Vocals On True Heater, “First Time”
GRAB YOUR COPY
Under the impressive production skills of Pontus, the one and only Sophia Shy wrote and sang a true heater entitled “First Time”. She lends her good powerful vocals to the Progressive House melody and pulsating bass like never before. At the same time, I think both artists complement each other with their own talents. Leaving their mark on the Swedish label Wolfrage Recordings, I hope this is not the last time DJs can count with their bangers. Essentially, this tune works pretty well for club sets. On a side note, Sophia teased her fans with an anime-inspired video snippet of her new single, and I can confirm it looks epic! Meanwhile, you can stream the instant crowd favorite via Spotify down here.

Maximals & PØP CULTUR Release Groovy Progressive House Track “All Of Me”
Protocol Recordings veterans Maximals teamed up with fellow Italians PØP CULTUR for their seventh release on the label with “All Of Me”, an uplifting Progressive House track with plenty of their signature groove. Maximals have made a name for themselves on an energizing, modern sound, which “All Of Me” delivers in the form of effervescent basslines, a catchy vocal hook, and sunny Pop melodies. This summertime-appropriate new release follows their recent remix for Nicky Romero and David Guetta’s hit “Ring the Alarm” and their “Up & Down” EP with Boothed. The Protocol family has always been about helping talented young artists gain exposure and welcome PØP CULTUR, who have also released on Spinnin’ Records and Future House Music, with this debut on the label.
Founded by Nicky Romero, Protocol Recordings is one of the leading imprints for innovative House music; it boasts a roster of heavy-hitters complemented with immensely talented up-and-comers, all with a diverse range of sounds that are guaranteed to light up a dance floor. Among them are Maximals, the Italian duo who are inspired by the atmosphere of dance music in the ’70s and ’80s. Their style is evident in the lighthearted vibes of their tracks, such as “My Best” and their hit “Fall in Line” featuring Nino Lucarelli, which was featured in the Ultra Miami 2017 official after movie. Last year, Maximals remixed Raiden and K-Pop star YURI’s “Always Find You,” making for yet another stellar example of teamwork by Protocol artists. Keep an eye out for releases from Maximals and PØP CULTUR coming later this year!
