Check Out Deltiimo’s Addictive Club Anthem “Welcome To The Real World”

Published

on

Before he was busy producing some of the most uplifting dance anthems of the last few years, British songwriter, lyricist, and producer Gary Louca was refining his sound under the moniker of Xturnal. It was a name that became synonymous with the 90’s, but now, almost three decades later, Louca has taken on a new, brighter form. Joining forces with international songwriter and producer Bradon Grobler, Louca is now a central part of the UK’s hottest, pop music production duo, Deltiimo.

Deltiimo only truly began in early 2017, with the pair meeting to working on remixes for Irish singer George Rigby, but soon became one of the year most prolific creative forces. Together, they co-wrote over an album’s worth of songs and were quickly signed their first song to Mental Madness Records. Although they’ve predominantly blazed a trail of modern hits, for their latest single they’ve taken the time to look back and reflect on past anthems.

Although originally an underground hit in 1992 under Louca’s Xturnal moniker, Deltiimo have taken “Welcome To The Real World” and made it into a contemporary club anthem of their very own. It’s been reworked, redefined, and reinvented, with brand vocals from the brilliant Lisa and a far more vibrant aesthetic. It’s a track that hit the #1 spot on Kings Of Spin’s on its very first day, and it’s easy to see why.

Lyrically, the song is as uplifting and positive as Deltiimo can be, setting the positive vibes against a flowing wave of dance beats and house electronics. The music echoes with 90’s nostalgia, holding firm to the original piece, while the production manages to give a far more contemporary feel to the piece, letting it comfortably lie somewhere between modern and dated. It’s a solid slice of Deltiimo magic that sees the duo shifting their focus and taking stock of their past work, proving that while their own branding might be new, there’s an absolute wealth of talent and history within.

Moksi Release Rap-Infused House Track “So Fly” On Yellow Claw’s Barong Family

Moksi
The newest release from an unstoppable Dutch duo Moksi is “So Fly”, featuring Lil Debbie, which is the premier single from their upcoming debut studio album “The Return of House Music”. Hinting at the theme of the LP, “So Fly” incorporates a familiar four-on-the-floor, driving house bassline with funky synths and minimal melodies, fused with raw rap vocals for a modern, street-friendly twist on a classic sound. Moksi and Lil Debbie previously worked together on their notable song “Push,” released on Barong Family. Check out what the duo has to say about “So Fly”:

“After the success of our song “Push,” we wanted to work with Debbie on a new song. We sent her a raw demo of a beat. Not longer than a day later, she sent us the vocal, which was an absolute freestyle smasher. We changed the entire beat to match her flow and vibe, and it became one of our favorite songs of the album.” – Moksi

The single builds anticipation for the drop of Moksi’s album “The Return of House Music,” scheduled for a release on August 2nd on Barong Family, which consists of 12 tracks drawing influence from house, g-house, UK garage, and funk styles. Listeners can look forward to exciting collaborations with Chocolate Puma, Ookay, Chace, and Digitzz on the album. Moksi’s previous collaborations include the likes of Yellow Claw, DJ Snake, Hardwell. Dillon Francis, and GTA, and they have released their music on Mad Decent, Interscope, Spinnin’, and Axtone in addition to their home label Barong Family.

Diego and Sam of Moksi have been friends since 2006 and began their musical partnership in 2015 when they ended up playing together on top of a food truck. The duo has made great strides since then; their “first track” – which was really only a 45-second snippet – was still impressive enough to catch the attention of Yellow Claw. That snippet became their single “Getting Higher,” which put Moksi on the map and eventually led to their EP “Brace Yourself.” That same year, Moksi made their stage debut at none other than Tommorowland, making for an epic debut show that was the start of performing at festivals such as EDC, Spring Awakening, Ultra, Lollapalooza and more. Their most notable releases include 2017’s fan favorite “Open” with Yellow Claw, which has amassed 27+ million streams on Spotify alone, and the Beatport #1 single “Hippo” (with legendary Dutch duo Chocolate Puma) and the rave monster “Powermove”, alongside Hardwell. Stay tuned for their full LP and more new music coming soon!

Skytech & DNF Drop Groovy Future House Tune “Touching Me”

Published

on

By

DNF
Skytech has been on fire this year, and he continues his streak with his latest track “Touching Me”, for which he teamed up with his fellow Polish newcomer DNF to release on R3HAB’s CYB3RPVNK imprint. Although you never quite know what to expect from Skytech’s dynamic sound, his tracks consistently weave elements of bass and melodic groove for a sound that is radio and dancefloor-friendly at the same time. “Touching Me” stays true to that dichotomy with its autotuned vocals and driving minimal bassline, putting emphasis on the severe synth play and future house-inspired sound effects. The new track follows Skytech’s recent single “Looking at Me” with Tommy Jayden, his remix for R3HAB & MOTi’s “Up All Night” and original release “Out of my Mind.” The first half of 2019 has seen Skytech heating up the airwaves with every release, and we can’t wait to see what he’s got up his sleeve next.

Mateusz Dziewulski – better known by his artist name Skytech – is already a household name in his home country of Poland, and the rest of the world is soon to follow. His name first appeared on the map when R3HAB discovered his original track “Tiger” and then helped Skytech to put final production touches on it, proving to be a winning team after “Tiger” skyrocketed to over 100M streams on all platforms. Since then, the two have worked on numerous tracks together via the CYB3RPVNK imprint, such as “Fuego,” “What You Do,” “Hyperspace,” “Starflight,” and more, fusing their sounds to make music that is club and festival friendly while never sacrificing substance and soul. Since then, Skytech has been touring around the world, increasing his global footprint with every electrifying live performance. In 2017, he was the most streamed Polish act on Spotify and debuted at Tomorrowland, while in 2018 he came in a close second on the Polish Spotify charts right after Frideric Chopin. Follow CYB3RPVNK to see what R3HAB, Skytech and the rest of this talented crew are up to this summer.
