Depeche Mode Watches To End The Global Water Crisis
You’ve got the concert tickets, worn the t-shirts and now you can tell the time with Depeche Mode watches. The trio teamed up with Swiss watchmaker Hublot to make a limited edition series of timepieces to support their charity partner Charity: Water. A collector’s edition series of 55 Big Bang Unico watches has been created to celebrate Depeche’s single releases – from 1981’s “Dreaming Of Me” to last year’s “Cover Me”. Martin Gore said: “We are greatly honored and moved by Hublot’s support of Charity: Water with this new collection of watches commemorating all of our singles.” Each watch partially shows the image of the record cover it represents on the dial. The back features the entire cover of the single. Charity: Water, based in New York City, is a non-profit organization whose mission is to bring clean and safe drinking water to people in developing countries worldwide.
