It seems that all SLANDER touches turns to gold, and their newest track is set to be their next success story. The famed duo teamed up with talented newcomers WAVEDASH for “Move Back”, released on Insomniac Records, which literally dominates with a bone-shaking drop, serrating mechanical synths and even a siren sample in the mix. For SLANDER, who have a devout live show following, “Move Back” will be a kingpin on the dancefloor. WAVEDASH’s heavy bass sound is akin to earlier works from SLANDER and NGHTMRE, making the trio a perfectly fitting collaboration candidate. With festival season kicking into full gear, there’s no doubt you’ll hear “Move Back” slaying crowds around the globe this summer.
SLANDER first made waves in the scene when they debuted their remix of Showtek’s “We Like to Party” in 2014, coining their unique sound. However, SLANDER has proven they are capable of so much more than remixes and a singular genre. The duo made waves with their original productions and an evolved sound, as recently evidenced on “Welcome To The Fire” with Sullivan King, “I Can’t Escape” with SAYMYNAME featuring Feli Ferraro and “Happy Now”. Their ability to produce both bass-heavy headbangers and emotionally stirring melodies distinguishes them as talented, multifaceted producers, not to mention their charismatic stage presence. Together with NGHTMRE, SLANDER has made their “Gud Vibrations” event concept into a bonafide lifestyle. In 2018 they sold out their Miami Music Week’s Gud Vibrations Boat Party in less than 3 minutes, and continue to branch out and grow their brand. This is only the beginning of what SLANDER has planned for 2018, so stay tuned to see what they have up their sleeve next.
WAVEDASH debuted in 2015 with their single “Bang”, released on Skrillex’s OWSLA Records, which sat comfortably at #1 on the Beatport chart for months on end. With a monstrous amount of hype surrounding their new music, the trio self-released their first ever EP “Hundred”, which featured their intricate high energy productions, all of which continue to rival music by producers who double their age. They are fresh off performing at Beyond Wonderland and have an arsenal of music coming in 2018. The young trio is moving full speed ahead with no intention of slowing down, undeniably making them an act to keep an eye on.

Sludge Releases His Second Bone-Chilling Track “Emergency” On Heavyweight Records
The newest bomb from Carnage’s Heavyweight Records comes from up-and-comer Sludge in the form of his single “Emergency”, and it’s one of the most intense tracks of the summer so far. From the moment the track opens with an ominous, dark beat and a bone-chilling voice demanding “Who shall be next?” It’s clear that Sludge is not for the faint of heart. He continues to deliver shocks to the system with serrating, mechanical synths, and blackout-inducing basslines complemented with sound effects that sound uncannily like human screams. “Emergency” was inspired by the bloody, dark times of Sludge’s parents living in Yugoslavia during its inner conflicts. “Emergency” follows Sludge’s recent release “Blacksmith” also on Heavyweight Records.
Iconic DJ and producer Carnage founded his label Heavyweight Records in 2017 as a home for hard bass and hip-hop music. Since then, the LA-based artist has gathered a formidable crew of cronies on the imprint, from the masked mastermind GRAVEDGR, Melbourne bounce frontrunner Will Sparks, trippy up-and-comer GOMMI, and now the sinister and dangerous Sludge. Sludge joins their prestigious ranks as a brand-new artist, with “Blacksmith” being his first release and “Emergency” his follow-up, and has set the stage to be one of the label’s premiere acts going forward.

Oliverse Releases Five-Track Experimental Bass ‘Outerworld’ EP
At a time when Bass music is at its peak, it can be hard to find an original sound among the womps. Enter Oliverse, the young Producer who is forging his own experimental Bass sound with his newest EP, appropriately titled ‘Outerworld’. The five-track collection spans a variety of genre inspirations, from the electro, dubby and futuristic opener “My Vibe” to the ethereal vocals and melodic basslines of the sensual “Unspoken” ft. Elle. Oliverse employs the fusion of elements from Electro House, Future Bass, Dubstep and more to make his unique sound, which is sometimes brought to life with the synth-laden drops of “Parachute,” or the more cinematic and melodic outro track that gives the EP its name. No matter your taste on the bass spectrum, this EP has something for you. ‘Outerworld’ is out now on Disciple Records.
Ryan Oliphant – better known as Oliverse – was always destined for music. An emo kid at heart, the UK artist started playing guitar at a very young age, which eventually led to the exploration of producing music. In his earlier career, Ryan used multiple different aliases to create Dubstep primarily, but Oliverse was born in 2015 when he decided to shift his focus to a more experimental Bass sound. The talented youth quickly found his feet in the Bass scene and released his debut EP ‘Mountains’, which he quickly followed with his single “Hold It Down” alongside the highly anticipated remix from recurring collaborator, Tisoki, which earned a staple track status in Skrillex’s sets throughout the year. He’s also lent his high-energy, dynamic sound to remixes for Modestep, Emalkay, Dodge & Fuski. Since then, he’s earned the support of legendary artists including Excision, Getter, Borgore, and Diskord. As the ‘Outerworld’ EP demonstrates, Oliverse is just getting started, and he’s only going up from here. Keep an eye out for more from Oliverse coming soon!

Riot Ten Drops Dubstep & Hip-Hop Influenced ‘Hype Or Die: Sun City’ EP
They say everything is bigger in Texas, Lonestar state native Riot Ten proves this true for music as well with his new ‘Hype Or Die: Sun City’ EP. Out now on Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak Records, the six-track EP hits hard out of the gate with the stabbing, robotic bass of “Los Pinches” and never stops, carrying through on tracks like the absolutely relentless, heavy-metal influenced “Ain’t Scared” with Pierce featuring Hashu and the hip-hop tinged “ShutYaMouth” with Foreign Suspects featuring Atarii. The EP’s closing track “Sun City” provides some respite from Riot Ten’s massive assault to the senses, serving as a well-needed breather after an adrenaline-inducing sonic experience. Riot Ten teamed up with 9 producers and singers/songwriters for “Hype Or Die: Sun City,” making for an all-star lineup of bass, hip-hop and dubstep names. To tie it all together, he’s preparing for the premiere event of his own “Hype Or Die” festival in his hometown of El Paso, Texas on May 31st. Get ready for a day of pulverizing basslines courtesy of Riot Ten himself with support by Bonnie x Clyde, PhaseOne, G-Rex, Moonboy and more. Get your tickets here while you still can!
Riot Ten is best known for his breakout single “Rail Breaker,” which held down a place on the Beatport Dubstep Top Ten chart for almost half a year and continues to be one of the most played out records in dance music over 2 years later. Even across genres, fans of The Chainsmokers will recognize Riot Ten’s “F*ck It” as the track they opened every show with on their massive “Memories Do Not Open” tour. After those early successes, the American producer dropped his debut EP with Dim Mak called “Hype Or Die: The Dead” in February 2018, recording a Top 10 debut on the iTunes Dance Album charts. Riot Ten followed up with a second EP “Hype Or Die: Genesis” to coincide with his 40+ city “Hype Or Die 2018 Tour,” selling out shows across the US in nearly every major market. Although he’s a gamer geek at heart, Riot Ten also knows how to throw a party, having performed live sets at popular festivals including Coachella, EDC, Electric Zoo, Nocturnal Wonderland, Lost Lands, and more. Keep an eye out for more new music and exciting appearances from Riot Ten coming later this year!

NGHTMRE & SLANDER’s Gud Vibrations Label Releases ‘Mutation’ EP
NGHTMRE & SLANDER‘s imprint Gud Vibrations welcomes the newest member of the crew, Midnight Tyrannosaurus, with the release of his ‘Mutation’ EP. The three-track project delivers Midnight Tyrannosaurus’s incredibly unique, heavy-hitting dubstep style from the instant the robotic, mechanical title track begins, starring bone-shaking bass and jarring synths. “Banana Planet” packs an otherworldly, tribal bass punch, evoking images of a terribly dystopian jungle. Wrapping things up is “Styx,” featuring ominous, minimal production style and disembodied vocal samples. While Midnight Tyrannosaurus’s sound is difficult to classify, one thing is for certain – you won’t be forgetting it anytime soon. Labelheads NGHTMRE & SLANDER share their excitement about bringing on this talented new artist:
“We are very excited to welcome Midnight Tyrannosaurus to the Gud Vibrations family! He is an incredibly talented producer that is truly pushing the boundaries of bass music. The one thing we love the most about Midnight T is that his songs are instantly recognizable and very unique. We can’t wait for the world to hear his new EP! We hope it really challenges listeners to open their minds to something new! Get ready!” – NGHTMRE & SLANDERSTREAM/DOWNLOAD
Before linking up with the Gud Vibrations camp, Midnight Tyrannosaurus had written releases on multiple bass labels over the majority of the past decade, most recently on Never Say Die’s Black Label. He is currently on his first solo worldwide headline 40+ date “Mutation Tour” to promote the EP, which began on January 18th in China and hits major cities such as Sydney, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Chicago and more. The tour also features Midnight Tyrannosaurus’s own visuals and support from bass artists YAKZ, Kai Wachi, and Cromatik. The future is looking very bright indeed for Midnight Tyrannosaurus, who is set to be one of Gud Vibrations’ artists of 2019, alongside WAVEDASH, Shadient and of course NGHTMRE and SLANDER themselves.
