Prepare your eardrums for annihilation, because Snails has just released his first track on his new label Slugz Music, and it’s every bit as assaulting as you’d expect from the artist who coined the term “Vomitstep.” The Montreal-based producer teams up with good friend Kill the Noise on “Shake The Ground,” which lays the foundations for the aesthetic of Slugz Music with its rock n’roll and heavy metal influences. From the second that “Shake The Ground” begins, Snails and Kill the Noise subject their willing listeners to an intense experience filled with growling vocals, electric guitar riffs and bone-shaking bass that may just make you lose your breakfast. This level of gut-wrenching perfection doesn’t come overnight; Snails and Kill the Noise began the track more than a year ago, enlisting the help of metal influenced artists Sullivan King and Jonah Kay in its evolution. “We wanted to try something new and different on this one and bring our metal and rock n’ roll roots into the song,” Snails explains. “The energy of the crowds when we drop this song at festivals is what makes it all worth it. Really, really proud of this one!” Press play on “Shake the Ground” and just remember: you’ve been warned. For those fans making it to Hard Summer this year, look to hear “Shake The Ground” dropped at Snails and Kill the Noise’s special Kill the Snails set.
Frédérik Durand, better known as his DJ/producer alias Snails, is truly an artist whose music has no boundaries. After spending years crafting music featuring the most grimy sounds and unrelenting bass – including working with Skrillex and Diplo on their Grammy-winning album – his “Vomitstep” sound found a home on labels like OWSLA, Dim Mak and Monstercat – along with a cult following that truly embraces it. His singles “Into the Light” feat. Sarah Hudson, “WFSU” with Waka Flocka Flame, and “Only Want U” with NGHTMRE and Akylla set the stage for his game-changing debut album “The Shell,” which served as a testimony to exactly who Frédérik is as an artist. Now with the launch of Slugz Music, Snails has a home for his music and others’ that is as outrageous as they want it to be. “I want to release music that really inspires me and is just as weird as me,” he quips. Stay on the lookout for more upcoming, blackout-worthy releases from Snails and Slugz Music!
The music of Jake Stanczak, better known as American producer and DJ, Kill the Noise, was born out of an era where Ridley Scott imagined utopian futures on the silver screen, and artists like NIN and Aphex Twin rocked MTV. After channeling the influences of his youth through over a decades’ worth of forward¬driven electronic releases (“Roots” “Kill Kill Kill”, “Black Magic”, “Occult Classic”), and charismatic live shows (Coachella, EDC Las Vegas, Lollapalooza, Hardfest), the name “Kill the Noise” has become synonymous with some of the leading acts in dance music – getting creative in the studio with the likes of Dillon Francis, deadmau5, AWOLNATION and Skrillex – and as 2018 unfolds, he’ll be unveiling even more material.

Party Favor Kicks Off Fall With Release Of Electro/Trap Single “Gasoline” Ft. Nonsens
Party Favor teams up with Danish trio Nonsens for his latest heavy-hitting single “Gasoline”, an Electro and Trap-influenced track that we predict will light dance floors on fire. Like its namesake, “Gasoline” starts out innocently enough with groovy instrumental melodies and distorted vocals, but quickly blooms into a hard, driving bassline and percussive drop that’s perfect for the headbanging crowd. Party Favor has been on a hot streak with rage-ready tracks like “Wasabi,” and “Wait A Minute,” now adding “Gasoline” to his arsenal. He also recently released a remix package to this year’s hit album “Layers,” featuring TroyBoi, YehMe2, Blanke, BIJOU, and more on remix duties. There’s no telling what Party Favor has up his sleeve next, so stay tuned for more announcements and new music coming very soon!
With one of the most diverse and accomplished resumes in the industry as a DJ, producer, and boundary-pushing artist, Party Favor is a real force of nature. His music has helped the festival trap, and twerk scenes rise to sudden popularity in dance music, frequently blurring the boundaries between electronic, rap, reggae, and many other genres. In addition to multiple hit singles and a debut EP (feat. Gucci Mane, Rich the Kid, Dillon Francis) that reached #2 on iTunes Dance, #1 on US Dance Radio and #7 on Billboard’s Dance radio charts, the LA-based artist has worked as a producer for some of the biggest names in the industry, such as Lil Jon, 2 Chainz, Migos and A$AP Ferg. Fans can catch Party Favor at his residencies at Hakkasan Group (Hakkasan, Omnia, Wet Republic) in Vegas, E11even in Miami and Premier Nightclub in Atlantic City this year. 2019 thus far has been a massive transformation for Party Favor, and shedding all of these “Layers” was just the beginning.

Eptic’s ‘Flesh & Blood’ EP Includes A Collab With Dillon Francis — LISTEN
Bass maestro Eptic debuts the full-length version of his highly anticipated ‘Flesh & Blood’ EP on Monstercat, featuring three brand new tracks brimming with dark, driving and ominous sounds of electronic music’s heaviest genres. After releasing “Let it Go” with Dillon Francis and “Power” earlier this summer, Eptic finishes the EP strong with “Violence,” “Beyond the Stars,” and “Undefeated.” The distorted vocal snippets from news reports set the nefarious tone for “Violence” even before the track breaks down into grinding, serrating bass, consisting of one of the harder tracks on the EP. “Beyond the Stars” feels otherworldly with its video game-inspired sound effects and dreamy riffs, while “Undefeated” is Eptic’s final and jarring crescendo in this sonic journey. All five tracks of ‘Flesh & Blood’ are hybrid monsters of dubstep, trap, bass and electro, representative of Eptic’s dynamic and unique sound. Read on below for additional insight into this very personal project:
“I’m excited and proud to present this new ep to you all. The whole thing has been in the works for almost a year, and it’s the most blood, sweat, and tears I’ve ever put into the musical and visual aspect of a project. I’ve field-tested all of these songs out during my shows and made so many adjustments overtime to make sure everything bangs in a live setting. There are a whole lot more new music and unexpected collaborations coming, paired with a brand new merch line as well. This is the most excited I’ve been in my career so far, and I hope you are too.” – EpticSTREAM/DOWNLOAD
Since bursting onto the scene with his “Like a Boss” EP on Never Say Die Records in 2014, musical wunderkind Eptic has established himself as one of the most formidable young players in bass music. After his debut EP soared to the top of the Beatport dubstep charts for 7 weeks straight, it was clear that Eptic was here to stay. He has had a streak of successful releases on Never Say Die and Spinnin’ Records, and recently released the heavy-hitting “SouthSide” with DJ Snake. The multi-talented Eptic not only illustrates all of his tracks’ music videos and designs his show’s live visuals, but he also runs a highly entertaining vlog on Youtube, which has featured guest appearances by the likes of Skrillex and other special guests. Keep an eye out for what he cooks up next!

Riot Ten Drops Debut Studio Album ‘Hype Or Die: Nightmares’ Featuring 10 Bass Masterpieces
After teasing the world with “Glocks” with SAYMYNAME just a few weeks ago, Riot Ten has finally dropped his debut full-length studio album ‘Hype or Die: Nightmares’. The ten-track LP is a bass masterpiece, exploring multiple facades of the genre with help from some of rap and dance’s hottest names. From the slow and heavy “Hyphy” with YDG to the hip-hop party starter “Freaky” ft. Whokilledkenny to the assaulting, robot-bass bomb “Showdown” with Throwdown ft. Atarii; Riot Ten wraps his hands around the listener’s throat and takes them on a wild ride that’s not for the faint of heart. To celebrate the release of the album, Riot Ten embarked on his Hype or Die tour in August and will relentlessly hit city after city in North America and Canada, ending with a few stops in Australia through the New Year in 2020. Riot Ten’s Hype Or Die 2019 Tour also features a crew of supporting bass artists including Delta Heavy, GG MAGREE, Sharps, Stoutty, Throwdown, Vampa, Walter Wilde and Yakz on select dates. With a stacked lineup and the debut album released, this is bound to be one of the most insane tours in recent history.
“This album is literally who I am as a musician. It means everything to me. I’ve put out countless EP’s over the last 3 years, way too many singles to even count, so to finally deliver a full-length album is a defining moment for my career and growth as an artist. This album will showcase my roots, as well as my energy, and I can’t wait to share it with the world.” – Riot TenSTREAM/DOWNLOAD
Riot Ten is best known for his breakout single “Rail Breaker,” which held down a place on the Beatport Dubstep Top Ten chart for almost half a year and continues to be one of the most played-out records in dance music over 2 years later. Even across genres, fans of The Chainsmokers will recognize Riot Ten’s “F*ck It” as the track they opened every show with while on their massive “Memories Do Not Open” tour. After those early successes, the American producer dropped his debut EP with Dim Mak called “Hype Or Die: The Dead” in February 2018, recording a Top 10 debut on the iTunes Dance Album charts. Riot Ten followed up with a second EP “Hype Or Die: Genesis” to coincide with his 40+ city “Hype Or Die 2018 Tour,” selling out shows across the US in nearly every major market. Although he’s a gamer geek at heart, Riot Ten also knows how to throw a party, having performed live sets at popular festivals including Coachella, EDC, Electric Zoo, Nocturnal Wonderland, Lost Lands, and more. Sludge Blends Glitch And Dubstep On “Crush ‘Em” Via Heavyweight Records
Sludge brings another industrial, raw and heavy Bass track to Carnage’s Heavyweight Records in the form of his new release “Crush ‘Em”. It’s a bone-shaking blend of his signature Glitch and Dubstep style, fraught with sawlike synths and enough mechanical effects to make you feel like you’re in a factory lineup. Appealing to the headbanging, thrashing crowd, “Crush ‘Em” is sure to go off mob-style during bass shows this fall. Sludge only crashed onto the scene only this year, but he is quickly becoming one of the most prominent up-and-comers in the bass scene, burgeoned by the positive reaction to his first two singles and support from artists like Carnage. Sludge is only getting started bringing his toxic sound to the sonic airwaves, to stay tuned for what he has up his sleeve next!
Iconic DJ and producer Carnage founded his label Heavyweight Records in 2017 as a home for hard bass and hip-hop music. Since then, the LA-based artist has gathered a formidable crew of cronies on the imprint, from the masked mastermind GRAVEDGR, Melbourne bounce frontrunner WIll Sparks, trippy up-and-comer GOMMI, and Lil Texas. Sludge joined their prestigious ranks as a brand-new artist, with “Blacksmith” being his first release (now having amassed almost 2M streams on Spotify) and “Emergency” and “Crush ‘Em” as his follow-ups, and has set the stage to be one of the label’s most prominent acts going forward.

The Wonkier, The Better… Stream In Full TEMPER’s New Single “Bestest Friend”
“Bestest Friend” by TEMPER is an absolute delight to your ears due to its glitchy wonk and wobbles. The 19-year-old DJ/Producer is one of the fastest-growing artists in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Moreover, he understands what versatility is about as his previous tracks are filled with different EDM genres. With over 3 years of experience, TEMPER makes sure you feel the weight of bass with this fresh tune.
Apparently, “Bestest Friend” is inspired by aliens, so I think this is a good track to listen to while raiding 👽Area 51, lol. Get your necks ready for some headbanging! Sincerely, I can’t wait to see what he has in store for the next months. Under the premise, the wonkier, the better, I’m pretty sure he’s already prepping more heavy banger for us.
