Nicky Romero Enlists Taio Cruz For New Dance-Pop Single “Me On You”

Published

Taio Cruz
If you ever find yourself at the point where you love your crush as much as your favorite drink, you just might have found the type of attraction that Taio Cruz sings about in his new track “Me On You”, produced with Nicky Romero’s golden touch. The two powerhouses give “Me On You” the best of both worlds, with Romero’s lush soundscapes and future bass breakdowns playing host to Cruz’s infamously sensual vocals. The track follows Nicky’s successful single “Where Would We Be” with singer ROZES released earlier this year, which they performed live on Good Morning America and Conan O’Brien. In addition to his healthy output of club tracks, Romero has begun to experiment with a more vocal-driven, radio-friendly sound on “Me On You,” which just was released on Romero’s label Protocol Recordings. Judging by his record thus far, we can expect that he has more all-star collaborations up his sleeve.

Nicky Romero has progressed from being a young, musical wunderkind to an absolute force to be reckoned with as a DJ, producer, and mogul whose label is at the forefront of modern electronic dance music. Romero’s resume is an impressive and lengthy string of hits includes iconic originals and collaborations with artists including Avicii, Calvin Harris, NERVO, ZEDD and more. Through the constant evolution of his sound and reinvestment in emerging artists, Nicky has proved his ability to evolve with the ever-changing landscape of electronic music. UK singer, rapper and producer Taio Cruz is equally as iconic, having sold over 100 million singles and more than 5 million albums worldwide to date. His chart-topping singles “Dynamite,” “Higher,” “Hangover” and “Break Your Heart” have become singalong staples, and Cruz isn’t slowing down anytime soon. Today, Nicky leverages his production prowess by raising up promising talent on his label Protocol Recordings, and Cruz continues record as well as write songs for notable artists such as Rihanna, David Guetta, Britney Spears and more. You never know what direction these two artists will go in next, so follow their socials to come along for the ride.

You're The One
Stream in full One Eighth‘s newest tune “You’re The One” to get you in the mood for dancing. It is absolutely clear this track was designed in the studio for those in search of a good time. Once again they’ve opted for a vocally driven chorus in a style similar to their previous single “Can’t Explain”. Nevertheless, this one is more suitable for sunny bright days as I believe this rhythm is a bit more uplifting. Sincerely, it’s often boring to sip a mojito without good music. Ultimately, if you have plans to go to the beach this weekend, then make sure this fresh track accompanies you on your journey.

It goes without saying that jointly, Ligo & Nina Storey have proved themselves they make a good match in musical terms. If I could describe their track “Be A Part Of Tomorrow” with a single word, I would say they create an eargasmic experience. Definitely, the outcome will help you feel more optimistic. In other words, the song is sending a message that creates awareness for a better world.

Not to mention, a change is always possible but you must first begin with yourself. Add to this, an infectious melody and super catchy vocals, resulting in a mix of elements belonging to EDM and Pop genres. On a side note, this amazing tune was inspired by Avicii’s “Addicted To You”. Isn’t that cool? What do you think?

This Is An Awesome Vocally Charged EDM Banger Produced By KEOTA

Published

There are so many artists on the rise, but DJ & Producer KEOTA stands out from the crowd. He put out a banger that has stuck in my head since I discovered it online. This EDM/Pop banger is entitled “Scars”, and it seems the sisterly duo Krewella positively influenced his sound. First of all, you’ll agree with me that vocals fit pretty well with the beats and the energy throughout.

keota
Besides, and not less important, its dramatic builds and Dubstep-like drops lend itself to a real hands-in-the-air moment. The songwriting element should also be praised as this facilitates its exposure on radio stations. Nevertheless, for KEOTA it would be a dream come true if his awesome tracks were also played on large festivals. Without further ado, this is the type of contemporary music I can get behind and hope to see more powerful vocally charged anthems in the future.

Violinist Asher Laub Drops Music Video For An Upbeat Jam, “Neon Dreams” — Watch Here!

Violinist Asher Laub shares with us a fun/energetic music video for his debut single “Neon Dreams”. The New York-based artist grew up with classical music education and is looking to expand his creativity in the EDM scene. Therefore, in the video, you’ll enjoy the sound of his electric violin along with a breakdancing routine. Sonically, those delicious strings are perfectly intertwined with Electronica beats, vibrating synths drops, and bass lines.

violinist
You’ll notice he creates a classical piece with an edgy feel to it. More to the point, this is instrumental music for party animals. So, I can guarantee this is not boring at all, on the contrary, he merges two different styles, where the final outcome is, of course, a feel-good melody. With considerable enthusiasm, his performances are also over the top, that’s why you can’t mix his next live show at the Carnegie Hall on June 29th. More info below.
