SLANDER ventures into uncharted territory on their hardcore-meets-bass music track “Kneel Before Me” in collaboration with leading UK rock band, Asking Alexandria, and rising talent, Crankdat, on Monstercat/Sumerian Records. Opening with the notes of a sinister storm, “Kneel Before Me” evokes images of the Amazonian jungle during the apocalypse, filled with the sounds of the wild – grating mechanical synths intertwine with the shrieking of animals and growling basslines become one with the clap of thunder. SLANDER’s cutting edge production style and Asking Alexandria’s angst-ridden vocals give “Kneel Before Me” both emotional and dancefloor appeal, merging the best of heavy rock with the energetic and dynamic bass of dance music. The track has personal significance to SLANDER, as rock and hardcore music were the first genres they immersed themselves in as teenagers; they blasted bands like Avenged Sevenfold, Underoath, and Asking Alexandria themselves from their car speakers in their high school’s parking lot.STREAM/DOWNLOAD
“This kind of music is in our core and is where a lot of our other tastes developed from, so if you can imagine how thrilled we were when Asking Alexandria agreed to be a part of our new song with Crankdat!” the duo said. “Our goal with this song was to make our own rendition of hardcore music with dubstep at its core, essentially bringing our musical roots into 2018! Hope you guys dig it!”
SLANDER has proven they are capable of so much more than a singular genre. Recently, the duo has been experimenting with an evolved, ever-changing sound on their original productions, proving their ability to produce both bass-heavy headbangers and emotionally stirring melodies. Pairing their multifaceted production with their charismatic stage presence, SLANDER has also made their brand “Gud Vibrations” with NGHTMRE into a bonafide lifestyle. In 2018 they sold out their Gud Vibrations Boat Party in less than 3 minutes during Miami Music Week, and the listenership of their collaborative Sirius XM radio show grows weekly. In their own right, Asking Alexandria have earned their esteemed place in rock history by combining the innovation of modern active rock with the traditional attitude of the culture’s trailblazers. They’ve shared the stage with legendary artists Guns N’ Roses, Green Day, Alice In Chains, Avenged Sevenfold, Slipknot and more, as well as played every major rock festival in the world and headlined sold out theater tours. Their singles “The Final Episode” and “Not the American Average” were both certified gold by the RIAA. The music videos for those two singles alone amassed over 100M views on YouTube. Their third full length album, From Death to Destiny (2013), shot to #1 on the Rock and Metal charts in the U.K. and cracked the Top 5 of the Billboard 200 in the United States upon its release. Rounding out the “Kneel Before Me” collaboration with an infusion of fresh, bass-heavy talent, Crankdat is an American DJ and producer who soon will be a household name. He’s experienced early success with releases such as “Reasons to Run,” “Lemme See U” with Ghastly, and his popular remix of San Holo’s “Light.” Crankdat recently released a mix for Diplo & Friends’ radio show, further solidifying his spot among dance music’s rising stars. Stay tuned as SLANDER, Asking Alexandria, and Crankdat continue to break down genre boundaries!

One Eighth’s Newest Tune “You’re The One” Has Arrived!
Stream in full One Eighth‘s newest tune “You’re The One” to get you in the mood for dancing. It is absolutely clear this track was designed in the studio for those in search of a good time. Once again they’ve opted for a vocally driven chorus in a style similar to their previous single “Can’t Explain”. Nevertheless, this one is more suitable for sunny bright days as I believe this rhythm is a bit more uplifting. Sincerely, it’s often boring to sip a mojito without good music. Ultimately, if you have plans to go to the beach this weekend, then make sure this fresh track accompanies you on your journey.

Ligo & Nina Storey Will Help You Feel More Optimistic With “Be A Part Of Tomorrow”
It goes without saying that jointly, Ligo & Nina Storey have proved themselves they make a good match in musical terms. If I could describe their track “Be A Part Of Tomorrow” with a single word, I would say they create an eargasmic experience. Definitely, the outcome will help you feel more optimistic. In other words, the song is sending a message that creates awareness for a better world.
Not to mention, a change is always possible but you must first begin with yourself. Add to this, an infectious melody and super catchy vocals, resulting in a mix of elements belonging to EDM and Pop genres. On a side note, this amazing tune was inspired by Avicii’s “Addicted To You”. Isn’t that cool? What do you think?

This Is An Awesome Vocally Charged EDM Banger Produced By KEOTA
There are so many artists on the rise, but DJ & Producer KEOTA stands out from the crowd. He put out a banger that has stuck in my head since I discovered it online. This EDM/Pop banger is entitled “Scars”, and it seems the sisterly duo Krewella positively influenced his sound. First of all, you’ll agree with me that vocals fit pretty well with the beats and the energy throughout.
Besides, and not less important, its dramatic builds and Dubstep-like drops lend itself to a real hands-in-the-air moment. The songwriting element should also be praised as this facilitates its exposure on radio stations. Nevertheless, for KEOTA it would be a dream come true if his awesome tracks were also played on large festivals. Without further ado, this is the type of contemporary music I can get behind and hope to see more powerful vocally charged anthems in the future.

Violinist Asher Laub Drops Music Video For An Upbeat Jam, “Neon Dreams” — Watch Here!
Violinist Asher Laub shares with us a fun/energetic music video for his debut single “Neon Dreams”. The New York-based artist grew up with classical music education and is looking to expand his creativity in the EDM scene. Therefore, in the video, you’ll enjoy the sound of his electric violin along with a breakdancing routine. Sonically, those delicious strings are perfectly intertwined with Electronica beats, vibrating synths drops, and bass lines.
You’ll notice he creates a classical piece with an edgy feel to it. More to the point, this is instrumental music for party animals. So, I can guarantee this is not boring at all, on the contrary, he merges two different styles, where the final outcome is, of course, a feel-good melody. With considerable enthusiasm, his performances are also over the top, that’s why you can’t mix his next live show at the Carnegie Hall on June 29th. More info below.
