While a love song isn’t necessarily what you’d expect from the inventor of a genre called “Vomitstep,” that’s exactly what Snails has created on his newest release “Magnets”. Produced in collaboration with heavyweights Zeds Dead and live electronic duo Akylla, “Magnets” is a rollercoaster ride through a passionate relationship, complete with dramatic vocals, stabbing percussion and goosebump-inducing bass. To sum up the track, Snails says “”Magnets’ is all about putting together beautiful melodies and vocals with intense basslines to create a powerful love song. The mix of all our styles complimented each other exactly how we wanted and so happy how the song came out.” A romantic ballad for the modern basshead, “Magnets” is guaranteed to create some serious flames on the dancefloor this fall. It’s out now as a co-release between Snails’s Slugz Music and Zeds Dead’s Deadbeats labels.
Just in time to showcase his recent releases – such as “Magnets” and “The Shell: Remixes” LP – Snails is about to embark on his massive 52 date North American tour, which will feature his brand new stage The Shell 2.0. The stage is being called a “holographic bass music experience powered by groundbreaking production” and is done in part with Beama Visuals, the stage production wizards for Excision and other impressive clientele. The tour kicks on October 5th at Snails’s own festival Sluggtopia at the iconic Red Rock Amphitheater, where “The Shell 2.0” is being unveiled to the world. Expect to hear some heavy tracks from Snails’s recent remix album of “The Shell”, which features some guest artists who will perform at Sluggtopia, including Funtcase, Space Jesus and SVDDEN DEATH among others. Also, 12th Planet, Kill the Noise, Liquid Stranger, Cookie Monsta and Voyd will be joining Snails throughout the entire “The Shell 2.0” tour on select dates as well as SVDDEN DEATH, HEKLER and UBUR as touring support. Snails is truly an artist whose music has no boundaries. Carnage Drops New Tune “Holy Moly” Ft. Terror Bass, Including A Sinister Music Video
King heavyweight Carnage debuts his new tune “Holy Moly” ft. Terror Bass, and it’s perhaps his most sinister track to date. Accompanied by a darkly themed music video that brings his production to life, “Holy Moly” opens with cinematic, orchestral tones as the video depicts a young girl who stumbles upon a monastery after witnessing the horrific murder of her mother. She quickly finds out that these nuns aren’t as holy as they seem as they teach her some dark secrets to help revenge her mother’s murder. “Holy Moly” breaks down into jarring basslines and serrating synths as she undergoes a shocking transformation, combining elements of trap, dubstep and bass music for one of Carnage’s most heavy-hitting tracks to date. The new release is the third in a string of Carnage’s recent EDM releases, following “Blitzkrieg” and “Slot Machine.”
Carnage, who is based in Las Vegas, established himself as the reigning champion of Festival Trap and Hard Bass music with early hits, later becoming one of the first artists to transition electronic music into hip-hop, rap, and urban styles. Carnage founded his label, Heavyweight Records, in 2017 as a home for hard bass and hip-hop music. Since then, he has gathered a formidable crew of cronies on the imprint. After taking a break from music in 2018 to focus on his mental health, Carnage is back and more aggressive than ever returning to his EDM roots with “Blitzkrieg,” “Slot Machine” and now unveils the brand new “Holy Moly.”

Dubstep is getting a refresh today with ingenious artists like Gunadi. Nowadays, the genre includes a fusion of different tones, and the overall sound feels diverse. Sludge Releases His Second Bone-Chilling Track “Emergency” On Heavyweight Records
The newest bomb from Carnage’s Heavyweight Records comes from up-and-comer Sludge in the form of his single “Emergency”, and it’s one of the most intense tracks of the summer so far. From the moment the track opens with an ominous, dark beat and a bone-chilling voice demanding “Who shall be next?” It’s clear that Sludge is not for the faint of heart. He continues to deliver shocks to the system with serrating, mechanical synths, and blackout-inducing basslines complemented with sound effects that sound uncannily like human screams. “Emergency” was inspired by the bloody, dark times of Sludge’s parents living in Yugoslavia during its inner conflicts. “Emergency” follows Sludge’s recent release “Blacksmith” also on Heavyweight Records.

Since then, the LA-based artist has gathered a formidable crew of cronies on the imprint, from the masked mastermind GRAVEDGR, Melbourne bounce frontrunner Will Sparks, trippy up-and-comer GOMMI, and now the sinister and dangerous Sludge. Oliverse Releases Five-Track Experimental Bass ‘Outerworld’ EP
At a time when Bass music is at its peak, it can be hard to find an original sound among the womps. Enter Oliverse, the young Producer who is forging his own experimental Bass sound with his newest EP, appropriately titled ‘Outerworld’. The five-track collection spans a variety of genre inspirations, from the electro, dubby and futuristic opener “My Vibe” to the ethereal vocals and melodic basslines of the sensual “Unspoken” ft. Elle. Oliverse employs the fusion of elements from Electro House, Future Bass, Dubstep and more to make his unique sound, which is sometimes brought to life with the synth-laden drops of “Parachute,” or the more cinematic and melodic outro track that gives the EP its name. No matter your taste on the bass spectrum, this EP has something for you. ‘Outerworld’ is out now on Disciple Records.
Ryan Oliphant – better known as Oliverse – was always destined for music. An emo kid at heart, the UK artist started playing guitar at a very young age, which eventually led to the exploration of producing music. In his earlier career, Ryan used multiple different aliases to create Dubstep primarily, but Oliverse was born in 2015 when he decided to shift his focus to a more experimental Bass sound. The talented youth quickly found his feet in the Bass scene and released his debut EP ‘Mountains’, which he quickly followed with his single “Hold It Down” alongside the highly anticipated remix from recurring collaborator, Tisoki, which earned a staple track status in Skrillex’s sets throughout the year. He’s also lent his high-energy, dynamic sound to remixes for Modestep, Emalkay, Dodge & Fuski. Since then, he’s earned the support of legendary artists including Excision, Getter, Borgore, and Diskord.
