Kebomusic Releases New Electronica Remix Of Flyt’s “Secret Place”

Published

on

Kebomusic
In case you didn’t know, Flyt is a duo from London whose signature style is all about laidback vibes. Naturally, Atlanta-based Producer Kebomusic adds refreshing electronic textures and provides small tweaks to their new single “Secret Place”. This remix starts off with some magical piano notes. In fact, Derrick Pryce (his real name) initially began an artistic path as a keyboardist. Shortly after that, international radio stations and music charts witnessed his best tracks on multiple occasions. With regard to this recent release, Derrick tries not to alter the original chill and radio-friendly melodies nor the sensual vocals. Nevertheless, the synths propel a non-stop energy, replacing its RnB/Jazzy notes to something which is more in favour of Electronica. Most importantly, this version is kinda hypnotic. Therefore, it’s a remix you can’t miss!

The JungleMico Project Surprises With Groundbreaking Music, Listen To “ROAMING”

The JungleMico Project
The JungleMico Project
is lead by MICO, a talented artist who aims to become China’s #1 Electronic Music Producer with his groundbreaking tunes. Not for nothing, he has been nominated several times for his albums. In 2015, his debut material ‘Roaming’ won the Asian Chinese Music Media Awards. Add to this, he has also entered the Electronica Top 200 iTunes charts. Therefore, we can clearly glimpse he has a bright future.

Without a doubt, one of MICO’s best tracks to date is “ROAMING”. It seems he and his project always opt for innovation. Surprisingly, he demonstrates creativity by merging oriental-esque sounds with a heavy dose of club music. According to the artist, inspiration came from Chinese (South-West region) songs. However, his desire to push the envelope, made his composition stand out because it feels modern due to electronic rhythms. Mixing opposite styles to perfection as it leaves you with your mouth hanging open. 😮

Plenty of eye-catching scenes, the futuristic clip of “Gone This Night” by Synthapex is a stunning work. Enlisting Arthur Lesnitsky as the Video Director, you can tell visuals are highly influenced by cyberpunk atmospheres + CGI elements like the ones in Blade Runner or Altered Carbon. Personally, I think the storyline predicts the future as it revolves around virtual simulation as the only way to achieve self-complacency. What’s more, society is under super surveillance by advanced technologies, which can cause us to question if we are steps away from privacy extinction over the next decades.

All the above indicates the artist’s vision of tomorrow’s world is as dark as his music. Sonically, listeners can expect a sinister synth melody, rockish drums, and moody hooks. On the whole, with progressive transitions and fast-paced beats, it feels like a cinematic experience. After this, I can’t wait to hear his upcoming full-length album, which is currently in the works. Stay tuned!

Mysterious duo ATLiens and Australian bass producer Blanke have teamed up for the hard-hitting single “Contact”, out on Downright. We may not know what their purpose on Earth is, but we do know that ATLiens have been gradually infiltrating the minds of electronic music fans since their initial releases; they first struck out with the hard-hitting “Watch Out,” featuring the Ragga Twins, and “Malfunction” with TYNAN. ATLiens then hit Earth with “Invasion,” EP full of bass-heavy, robotic tracks that caught the attention of humans around the globe. They have collaborated with Party Thieves, Bassnectar and Felmax and bolstered their stage presence with a massive worldwide tour, including their own showcase at Miami Music Week this year. Blanke is the newest artist they’ve brought into their energy field, who is best known for his remix of PNAU’s “Changa,” which was included in Billboard’s “10 Best Dance/Electronic Remixes of 2018” feature and also spent 6 months on Spotify’s Mint playlist. “Contact” is proof that ATLiens and Blanke are only getting stronger, so stay tuned for more hints from their world very soon.

Sonically Transport Yourself To The “Purple Eden” By WinstonW

WinstonW
is an up-and-coming artist whose artistic name is inspired by George Orwell’s sci-fi book 1984. With this in mind, almost all of his songs have a futuristic feel and vibe. Fantastically, on first listen, his latest single “Purple Eden”, transport listeners on a sonic journey that seems to reproduce a nature scene. Of course, he delivers nocturnal atmospherics, so put your headphones on, close your eyes and feel a pleasant cinematic experience for your ears.

In my opinion, a four-minute piece that is as relaxing as walking through the woods. I can assure you this is his best melodic track off his recent EP, ‘IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH’. It is good that the full material is available to stream online via SoundCloud, YouTube or Bandcamp. Need to chill? be sure to check out first “Purple Eden” right here!

divide ep
To conclude his massive EP ‘Divide’, Shadient brings us “Cyclone”, one last hybrid masterpiece to demonstrate that the darker genres of dance music can work seamlessly together. Delivering heart-thumping, heavy basslines, and immaculate sound design, “Cyclone” is funky, rhythmic and dancefloor-friendly all at once. The track’s fusion of drum & bass and dubstep sounds serves as the EP’s perfect outro as the track releases into smooth, cascading melodies at its closure. Following tracks “Abberate,” “Numbers Station” and “Medination,” Shadient has now unleashed “Cyclone” – and himself – on the world. Divide EP just has been released on NGHTMRE & SLANDER’s Gud Vibrations. Take a full listen to it and let Shadient take you to dark places and back again.

Since his invention in 2015, Shadient has been pushing the boundaries of electronic music. “From the get-go, it was this world of ideas I had rushing into my head of metallic and industrial imagery, dark visual aspects and noise and bass leaning music,” he says. “Some of my more primary influences initially were Gesaffelstein, Boys Noize, and Aphex Twin. Very minimalistic and dark European techno artists, but I always felt that palette could be explored more musically.” Shadient’s forward-thinking approach to production has earned him loyal support from artists like Porter Robinson, who has also become a good friend and even once gave Shadient $3000 to purchase a laptop so he could finish his album. Shadient’s recent releases “COLLIDER” and “winter=reality,” were signed to Mat Zo’s label Mad Zoo and he also did an official remix for RL Grime. Stay tuned for more new music and live performance announcements from Shadient.
