GRAB YOUR COPY
I’ve got good news! Grant Saxena‘s exotic single, “Palolem” is hitting the #25 spot on Beatport’s Trance Hype Top 100 Chart. While it is true I am not Nostradamus, my own experience tells me he will continue to climb higher with a strong position. You must love its progressive charm, which gives listeners goosebumps. Not to mention, the oriental vibe will automatically transport you to a relaxing paradise within your mind. However, when the massive drop interrupts the slow buildup, it makes this track even more captivating and uplifting. Ideal either for clubs and festivals, give it a try below.

Teamworx Return To Protocol For Psytrance-Influenced Single “Losing Control”
Israeli duo Teamworx is back on Protocol and heating things up for the festival season with their new release “Losing Control”, out now on Nicky Romero’s Protocol Recordings. Delivering plenty of driving percussion and Psytrance-infused basslines, their new release is a groovy, guaranteed dancefloor smasher. “Losing Control” is Teamworx’s seventh release on the label, following their recent remix of Nicky Romero and David Guetta’s festival hit “Ring the Alarm,” an original “Deep Dark Jungle” the duo has produced with Nicky himself. “Losing Control” is a perfect example of how their sound is diverse and ever-evolving. With releases on Protocol, Universal and Spinnin’, and major festival appearances lined up, Teamworx are establishing themselves as one of the most promising up-and-coming artists to watch out for.
Since its founding in 2012, Protocol Recordings has grown from a record label to a truly multi-faceted household brand in electronic music. Nicky Romero created Protocol to be a place of camaraderie between forward-thinking artists, always daring to break the mold through innovative sounds and the development of emerging talent. Protocol’s ethos has lead to immense success with their family of artists, Teamworx. The Israeli exports first exploded onto the scene with Corey James and their track “Make the Crowd Go,” which received massive support from industry heavyweights and is still played by Steve Angello in his live sets. They’ve collaborated with Nicky himself on “Champion Sound” and “Deep Dark Jungle” and made remixes for his tracks “Only For Your Love” and “Ring the Alarm.” In 2018, they played at EDC China as well as Protocol’s showcase at ADE, setting the stage for their notable performances later this year. Keep an eye out for Teamworx!

“Basim Sababa” is a stand out track from DJ & Producer Roey Omer aka Spectrum. With trance-like beats and repetitive rhythms, he brings psychedelic heaven to our ears. Don’t get me wrong but its driving force could make everybody dance. It can be also described as a mind-bending club killer, however, I believe this is the style of music we tend to enjoy at outdoor festivals. Nicky Romero & Teamworx Release Tribal, Psy-Trance Influenced “Deep Dark Jungle”
Nicky Romero may be known for his progressive style, but the Protocol mogul debuts a brand new sound with his latest single “Deep Dark Jungle” in collaboration with Israeli duo Teamworx. True to its name, the track delivers driving, subterranean basslines, and dramatic melodies; it evokes vivid images of carnal tribal choreography that translates from ancient nature to modern dancefloor. Romero has been expanding his sound throughout the last year – from progressive to pop and even country-influenced – and now has touched down in the deeper realms of dance music with the sophistication that only a veteran can pull off. “Deep Dark Jungle” is the second collaboration between Nicky and longtime Protocol artists Teamworx, following their hit “Champion Sound” in 2017. If you’re an aspiring producer yourself, check out Nicky’s over 250 samples, coming straight from Nicky Romero’s studio, he’s just released on Splice here.
Nicky Romero has quickly progressed from a young musical prodigy to one of the most prolific names in modern dance music. He is not only a talented DJ and producer but also the founder of Protocol Recordings and a mentor to the up-and-coming artists whose careers he helps to cultivate. Romero’s resume is an impressive and lengthy string of hits includes iconic originals and collaborations with artists including David Guetta, Steve Aoki, Avicii, Calvin Harris, NERVO, ZEDD and more. Through the constant evolution of his sound and reinvestment in emerging artists, Nicky has proved his ability to evolve with the ever-changing landscape of electronic music. His latest releases have spanned the spectrum of electronic music, including his recent “Ring the Alarm” with David Guetta, vocal collaboration “Distance” with Olivia Holt, “My Way” ft. Alice Berg, and remixes for Martin Garrix and Jess Glynne. In collaboration with Teamworx, the dynamic duo who last released “Clap Back” on Protocol, Nicky Romero dives headfirst into a more underground sound with “Deep Dark Jungle.” Stay tuned to see what comes next from the Protocol gang as they gear up for the festival season.
