HattteR
Dubstep fanatics get ready for this hot remix of  Lil’ Troy‘s “Wanna Be A Baller”. Personally, I can’t get enough of its heavy bass treatment. HattteR, a rising Producer from Houston, Texas literally transforms this old school Hip-Hop hit with vicious slashes, bouncy wobbles and whomps. Pushing the boundaries of the genre with a makeover that will blow you away.

In fact, I’m surprised how the track starts off rather calm but then the high energy kicks in. This happens when you feel those thunderous bass quakes penetrate your ears. Despite he’s new in the underground scene, headbangers are getting addicted to his inventive takes on classics. Incredibly, since its premiere, the remix has reached over 16K streams on SoundCloud. Consistency is key, therefore, HattteR has announced to drop new music every month, and sometimes, every week. Let’s keep an eye on him!

Riot Ten Drops Debut Studio Album ‘Hype Or Die: Nightmares’ Featuring 10 Bass Masterpieces

Riot Ten - Hype Or Die: Nightmares
After teasing the world with “Glocks” with SAYMYNAME just a few weeks ago, Riot Ten has finally dropped his debut full-length studio album ‘Hype or Die: Nightmares’. The ten-track LP is a bass masterpiece, exploring multiple facades of the genre with help from some of rap and dance’s hottest names. From the slow and heavy “Hyphy” with YDG to the hip-hop party starter “Freaky” ft. Whokilledkenny to the assaulting, robot-bass bomb “Showdown” with Throwdown ft. Atarii; Riot Ten wraps his hands around the listener’s throat and takes them on a wild ride that’s not for the faint of heart. To celebrate the release of the album, Riot Ten embarked on his Hype or Die tour in August and will relentlessly hit city after city in North America and Canada, ending with a few stops in Australia through the New Year in 2020. Riot Ten’s Hype Or Die 2019 Tour also features a crew of supporting bass artists including Delta Heavy, GG MAGREE, Sharps, Stoutty, Throwdown, Vampa, Walter Wilde and Yakz on select dates. With a stacked lineup and the debut album released, this is bound to be one of the most insane tours in recent history.

“This album is literally who I am as a musician. It means everything to me. I’ve put out countless EP’s over the last 3 years, way too many singles to even count, so to finally deliver a full-length album is a defining moment for my career and growth as an artist. This album will showcase my roots, as well as my energy, and I can’t wait to share it with the world.” – Riot Ten

Riot Ten is best known for his breakout single “Rail Breaker,” which held down a place on the Beatport Dubstep Top Ten chart for almost half a year and continues to be one of the most played-out records in dance music over 2 years later. Even across genres, fans of The Chainsmokers will recognize Riot Ten’s “F*ck It” as the track they opened every show with while on their massive “Memories Do Not Open” tour. After those early successes, the American producer dropped his debut EP with Dim Mak called “Hype Or Die: The Dead” in February 2018, recording a Top 10 debut on the iTunes Dance Album charts. Riot Ten followed up with a second EP “Hype Or Die: Genesis” to coincide with his 40+ city “Hype Or Die 2018 Tour,” selling out shows across the US in nearly every major market. Although he’s a gamer geek at heart, Riot Ten also knows how to throw a party, having performed live sets at popular festivals including Coachella, EDC, Electric Zoo, Nocturnal Wonderland, Lost Lands, and more. Keep an eye out for more new music and exciting appearances from Riot Ten coming later this year!

Sludge Blends Glitch And Dubstep On "Crush 'Em" Via Heavyweight Records
Sludge
brings another industrial, raw and heavy Bass track to Carnage’s Heavyweight Records in the form of his new release “Crush ‘Em”. It’s a bone-shaking blend of his signature Glitch and Dubstep style, fraught with sawlike synths and enough mechanical effects to make you feel like you’re in a factory lineup. Appealing to the headbanging, thrashing crowd, “Crush ‘Em” is sure to go off mob-style during bass shows this fall. Sludge only crashed onto the scene only this year, but he is quickly becoming one of the most prominent up-and-comers in the bass scene, burgeoned by the positive reaction to his first two singles and support from artists like Carnage. Sludge is only getting started bringing his toxic sound to the sonic airwaves, to stay tuned for what he has up his sleeve next!

STREAM/DOWNLOAD

Iconic DJ and producer Carnage founded his label Heavyweight Records in 2017 as a home for hard bass and hip-hop music. Since then, the LA-based artist has gathered a formidable crew of cronies on the imprint, from the masked mastermind GRAVEDGR, Melbourne bounce frontrunner WIll Sparks, trippy up-and-comer GOMMI, and Lil Texas. Sludge joined their prestigious ranks as a brand-new artist, with “Blacksmith” being his first release (now having amassed almost 2M streams on Spotify) and “Emergency” and “Crush ‘Em” as his follow-ups, and has set the stage to be one of the label’s most prominent acts going forward.

TEMPER
“Bestest Friend”
by TEMPER is an absolute delight to your ears due to its glitchy wonk and wobbles. The 19-year-old DJ/Producer is one of the fastest-growing artists in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Moreover, he understands what versatility is about as his previous tracks are filled with different EDM genres. With over 3 years of experience, TEMPER makes sure you feel the weight of bass with this fresh tune.

Apparently, “Bestest Friend” is inspired by aliens, so I think this is a good track to listen to while raiding 👽Area 51, lol.  Get your necks ready for some headbanging! Sincerely, I can’t wait to see what he has in store for the next months. Under the premise, the wonkier, the better, I’m pretty sure he’s already prepping more heavy banger for us.

Eptic Unleashes A Brand New Dub-Heavy Tune, “Power”

Published

Eptic
Eptic
made his debut on Monstercat with “Let It Go” ft. Dillon Francis earlier this month, and now the Belgian import is back with his second dub-heavy single “Power”. The new track is aptly named, and not for the faint of hear – -even before the drop, it delivers a frenetic fusion of stabbing synths and video game-esque sound effects that will make you feel like you’re whopping on Koopa Troopas in Super Mario Bros. Combine this initial energy with a breakdown filled with mechanical, serrating basslines and spastic vocal riffs, and “Power” is a hybrid dubstep killer that will ignite dance floors around the globe. Both “Let It Go” and “Power” will be featured on Eptic’s forthcoming “Flesh & Blood” EP. Check out what Eptic had to say about the new release below, and keep an eye out for its animated music video dropping soon:

“I’m not gonna lie, it took me a while to figure out this song. I wrote the drop pretty early on in progress, but I couldn’t get the mix or intro right. It was only after I was about to give up and really reflected on my own production skills that I tried a different approach and could make it work. I’m proud to say that after all this “Power” is one of my favorite songs I’ve ever made – production and songwriting wise, and it really set the standard for all the other tracks on this EP.” – Eptic

STREAM/DOWNLOAD

Since bursting onto the scene with his “Like a Boss” EP on Never Say Die Records in 2014, musical wunderkind Eptic has established himself as one of the most formidable young players in bass music. After his debut EP soared to the top of the Beatport dubstep charts for 7 weeks straight, it was clear that Eptic was here to stay. He has had a streak of successful releases on Never Say Die and Spinnin, and recently released the heavy-hitting “Southside” with DJ Snake. The multi-talented Eptic not only illustrates all of his tracks’ music videos and designs his show’s live visuals. He also runs a highly entertaining vlog on Youtube, which has featured guest appearances by the likes of Skrillex and other special guests. Watch Eptic and Marshmello test their chef skills in his new video (insert link) and keep an eye out for what Eptic cooks up next!

GRAVEDGR Releases Hip-Hop Influenced Bass Bomb “DON” Ft. Dabow

Published

on

By

dabow

Not many can contend with GRAVEDGR‘s penchant for bone-shaking bass, but the mysterious producer seems to have found his match in Argentine up-and-comer Dabow in their new collaboration “DON”. The two combine their twisted tastes into ominous basslines and haunting melodies, layering in rap vocals for an extra dose of street cred. “DON” culminates in its mind-bending drop, assaulting the senses with serrating synths and stabbing basslines. The track merges elements of hardstyle, hip-hop, and bass, proving once again that electronic music – and GRAVEDGR – has moved far beyond the realm of the simple oontz-oontz-oontz. The new release is GRAVEDGR’s seventh on Carnage’s Heavyweight Records; he first debuted on the label with “RAMPAGE” in 2018, which has now surpassed 10M streams on Spotify alone. Not bad for a crypt keeper!

STREAM/DOWNLOAD

Take one look at GRAVEDGR, and it’s easy to see where his name comes from – always DONning black attire and his signature face mask, it’s no surprise that his day job is literally digging graves. All the time spent contemplating mortality must have inspired his musical sound, which can be summed up as simultaneously scary, melodic, and hard. Having just made his debut performance at Hard Summer this mysterious character also seems to have a knack for creating catchy music that always works the crowd into a frenzy. His previous releases include “RAMPAGE,” “JESSE JAMES,” “BE WARY,” “KAMIKAZE,” and “RAWSIDE.” GRAVEDGR has already inspired a cult following and is now collaborating with exciting new artists such as Dabow, so we look forward to seeing what he has up his sleeve next.
