90s Dancing Baby Discovers Techno In Boys Noize’s Music Video

Published

on

To innovate is to breathe new life into what already exists, and this time, Boys Noize drops his music video, “Sireneh,” inspired by the iconic 90s dancing baby, one of the first true Internet memes. Get ready to laugh out loud and watch its hilarious first time inside a Techno club!

When Did the 90s Dancing Baby Go Viral?

The 90s dancing baby GIF went viral in 1996-1997. It started when Kinetix Character Studio created the “Baby Cha-Cha” animation as a demo for their 3D software. The GIF quickly spread through email chains and early internet message boards, but it really exploded in popularity when it appeared on the TV show Ally McBeal in 1997.

On the show, the dancing baby would appear as a hallucination to Ally Flockhart’s character, dancing to “Hooked On A Feeling” by Blue Swede. This TV exposure turned what was already spreading online into one of the Internet’s early viral phenomena, making the 90s dancing baby a defining piece of Pop culture despite the slow download speeds of that era.

Step Into the Wild World of Underground Clubs!

Directed by Babby, this video takes you deep into the real vibe of Berlin’s underground Techno clubs. Of course, the main character will instantly remind you of the popular 90s dancing baby that defined our childhood decades ago…

But here, nostalgia and 3D animations take a wild 180-degree turn. These visuals showcase the craziest hallucinations to hit your screen, with unexpected moments like crabs on the dance floor and a psychedelic overdose that goes horribly wrong. Brace yourself, it’s surreal!
