A Must-Listen Housey New Song, “You Need Me” By Kevin Blaze

Published

on

Kevin Blaze
The housey groove of “You Need Me” converts it into a certified club banger. While it is true Kevin Blaze produces a wide range of EDM styles, this new track is a strong step in the House direction. In fact, his forthcoming EP will follow the same line as it aims to ensure a kick drum on every beat. Check this out!

Hailing from Luxembourg, Kevin opts for repetitive and hypnotic vocals. Likewise, the single’s artwork conveys a dark aesthetic that matches perfectly with the intense or pulsating sound. Primarily, its punchy nature harks back to the days of the Chicago House era. Of course, this aspect especially applies to the vintage-style drumming. Without further ado, you should keep an eye on this original artist because there’s much more coming soon.

BROHUG Drop 3rd Part Of Their Mixtape Series, Incl. New Tune “Stealth”

BROHUG
boys are back with a special gift for fans in the form of their four-track “Mixtape 3”, which is full of the bass-heavy house vibes the Swedish trio is known and loved for. The full-length release features already released “Breach,” “Charge,” and “Escape,” all of which pack in shuffle-worthy beats and dirty synths, in addition to the brand new work “Stealth.” It delivers deep, driving bass that is sure to make your feet move, even if you’re listening from your living room speakers, and perfectly rounds out the bundle with BROHUG’s signature sound. They made all the tracks from the EP entirely during the beginning of worldwide lockdown and are now giving it to their fans as a way to lift spirits during the pandemic. The “Mixtape 3” EP is the latest in BROHUG’s series, following chapters 1 and 2 as well as their earlier releases “Gold On My Crown,” featuring Born I and “1990” with Kaskade.

“The ‘Mixtape’ series continues with #3; a concept which we wanted to focus on in 2020, releasing crates of new music to move the dancefloors. While we all expected to be partying together this year, a different hand was dealt. The 4 tracks featured on Mixtape 3 were made during the beginning of shutdowns around the world, and we wanted them to represent and inspire the strength music can provide during crazy times. At times of uncertainty, sometimes the best thing we can do is listen to music, dance, and forget about the outside world, if only for a moment.” – BROHUG

Regardless of their satirical stage name, BROHUG is not here to play games. Since John Dahlbäck and the Lunde brothers formed BROHUG in 2016, the trio has worked with Ghastly, remixed Steve Angello, and released on labels such as Confession, Spinnin’ Records, Dim Mak, Musical Freedom, and their label BROHOUSE. In 2019, their release schedule was packed with relentless hit after hit. Virtually unrivaled, their touring has been intense since the start. BROHUG has really put their name out, with sets on festivals like Ultra Music Festival in Miami and Tomorrowland in Belgium, touring Australia and several tours in the US and Asia. Even a global pandemic can’t keep BROHUG down, so keep an eye out for what’s next for this talented trio!

It isn’t hard to believe that “Block Report Unfriend Unfollow” can easily become the next viral House track. Dance divo Michael M, known for his club hits, “Dear Diary”, “The Kids Don’t Know” and “House Music 101” returns with a comical read on our daily social ritual during the pandemic. I’m pretty sure most of you will agree that is almost therapeutic to stay away from toxic people. Actually, it seems Coronavirus brought out the worst in them.

The uncomfortable truth is that those ‘so-called’ friends in our inner circle or even relatives spark disputes with divisive rhetoric on media platforms. Of course, their hateful expressions only make things worst, and that’s exactly when “Block Report Unfriend Unfollow” gives you immediate relief. On the other hand, Michael M’s new clip is quite simple but it is also funny. Somehow, it incites you to create a TikTok dance challenge. Beyond the minimal beats, kicks and toms, I totally feel identified with his repeated command. Enjoy!

The “Apocalypse” Has Come In The Form Of A Bass-Heavy Track Prod. By Relic

Published

on

bass-heavy track
Music producer Relic took advantage of several days on lockdown at his home studio. Not for nothing, his entry into the Coronavirus songs’ canon is precisely entitled “Apocalypse”. This bass-heavy track has a relation to the initial idea that the outbreak of the pandemic almost resembles the end of the world in colloquial terms. Therefore, its sound design successfully conveys a sensation of chaos through Dubstep-esque beats plus crazy synth sounds. You can tell he dominates the frequency modulation techniques as his signature Bass House rhythm is engaging and pulsating.

Beyond his passion for music, Josh is an awarded film editor/director. Sooner or later, in 2021 you’ll be able to watch his indie action movie, Sierra Sisters: The Hunt for Blackbeards Treasure. So, this is a sign that his projects always go hand-in-hand with imagination. Of course, “Apocalypse” is not an exception. Furthermore, its energy-filled drops layered with wobble effects incorporate elements of Trap and even 808s.

Relic’s musical journey is derived about five years ago after visiting his first festival. In fact, one of his biggest goals is to break into the music scene in Las Vegas. Clearly, he isn’t afraid to dream big!
