The unmistakable spirit of Acid House is alive and kicking in Chloé Caillet and Luke Alessi’s new collab, “Change.” It’s that perfect blend of old-school sound with a modern edge built for today’s dance floors.
The accompanying clip joins the ranks of funny music videos, setting the scene in a pretty wild aerobics class. All of this happens while the producers lead the dance moves mid-session, dropping short, positive messages about love and life.
See it for yourself below.
A Brief History of Acid House Music
Born in Chicago during the mid-1980s, Acid House music changed the way people experienced electronic music. Its signature textures came from the squelchy basslines of the Roland TB-303 synthesizer, creating hypnotic/futuristic melodies.
The genre quickly crossed the Atlantic and became a major part of the UK rave scene. By the late ’80s and early ’90s, Acid House was bringing thousands of people together on dancefloors and underground parties.
Decades later, its raw energy and psychedelic essence continue inspiring new generations of artists like Chloé and Luke.

A First Look at Chloé Caillet’s ‘Dance Again’ EP
“Change” arrives as the latest preview of Chloé’s upcoming EP, ‘Dance Again,’ scheduled for release on September 25 via Ninja Tune. Its concept will reflect her deep appreciation for the clubs and underground parties that shaped her musical identity long before she stepped behind the DJ booth.
Speaking about the EP, Caillet explained that every track represents a chapter from her life as a raver, capturing the excitement and emotional connection she experienced while losing herself on packed dancefloors.
Indeed, that nostalgic perspective gives “Change” an authentic personality instead of relying on retro aesthetics alone. Most importantly, it celebrates the simple joy of dancing with strangers, discovering new sounds, and reconnecting with the freedom that first made electronic music so special.
Luke Alessi Brings the Juice
Hailing from Australia, Luke drops his signature style on this jam, proving he’s the ultimate partner in crime. He pumps the beat with super crisp production and straight-up infectious vibes.
Together, they blend vintage flavor with contemporary beats that hit just as hard in a sweaty warehouse as they do on a massive festival main stage.
Sharing is caring; send this to someone who needs a new banger!
