Alan Walker Remixes R3HAB’s Iconic Hit “All Around The World”
R3HAB recruits his fellow heavyweight Alan Walker for a remix of his iconic hit “All Around The World” with A Touch Of Class from 2019, which remains R3HAB’s most streamed and most certified release to date. It’s a tough act to follow, but the one and only Alan Walker puts a fresh spin on it.
Walker honors the original’s Disco influence and layers in some groovy, euphoric melodies and an energetic breakdown. “All Around The World” first became a hit with A Touch of Class’s release in 2000, and with the return of everything early-aughts, this is the perfect time for a revival so that the hit can rule clubs and festivals around the world (literally) once again.
It’s out on Virgin Records/Universal Music and celebrates half a billion streams of the original version on Spotify alone, with 30 platinum certifications globally and a brand new gold plaque in the US, confirmed a few days ago. Read below what R3HAB and Alan had to say about the opportunity to remix the track:
“My single ‘All Around The World’ recently racked up half a billion streams on Spotify. This is an incredible milestone in my career, and I’m extremely grateful. To celebrate, I’ve asked Alan Walker to work on a new version. Alan is a pioneer, and I’m glad that I trusted him with this as he came up with a refreshing and surprising take. I hope both our fans will like this new approach and will celebrate with us all around the world.” — R3HAB
“When R3HAB asked me to make a remix of this classic, I had to jump on it. I hope my remix gets the Walkers around the world in a party mood, and create new amazing memories on it.” — Alan Walker

R3HAB & Pelican Join Forces For Latin-Inspired EDM Cut “Loca Loca”

Multifaceted producer R3HAB teams up with European duo Pelican for their new track “Loca Loca,” a multi-lingual party anthem that will heat up any room and any radio airwave, even as some parts of the world are cooling off. This EDM gem gives new life to Fly Project’s 2013 hit, fusing groovy, downtempo beats and trumpet instrumentals with sultry, soulful Spanish lyrics.
Even if winter is descending where you live, “Loca Loca” will transport you to a Latin paradise where it’s always summer and la fiesta never ends. The track follows R3HAB’s recent hot streak of “Rock My Body” ft. INNA, which has now amassed over 2.5B radio impressions and 115M+ streams, “Waterfall” with Michael Schulte, which is now #2 on German radio, as well as R3HAB’s collaboration with Tiësto – “Run Free (Countdown).”
On the other hand, Pelican is known for their breakthrough hits “Summer of 19” from 2021 and “The Bad Touch” with Tribbs from 2022. In addition to that, the duo wrote music for other artists, amassing multiple gold and platinum certifications and having their song “Solo” by Blanka featured at Eurovision 2023’s main contest.
“When the weather cools down, it’s my responsibility to turn up the heat. Pelican and I are pleased to share “Loca Loca,” a nostalgic release bringing back memories of 2010’s summer nights. “Loca Loca” is an emotional Latin-inspired dance track that puts a fresh spin on the catchy hook of Fly Project’s ‘Toca Toca’ as it hits its 10-year anniversary. As the nights get cooler, I hope this tropical sound and colorful energy provides a warm escape.” — R3HAB
“We’re thrilled to announce our new song “Loca Loca.” This is the biggest project of our career so far and we are honored to have this collab with R3HAB. This song holds a special place in our hearts, and we’re incredibly proud to share this with all of you. Stay tuned!” — Pelican

Diamond-Certified Sensation LUM!X Returns With “Fireflies” Ft. Jordan Rys
Austrian-Italian wunderkind LUM!X returns to Spinnin’ Records with his remake of the 2009 Owl City hit “Fireflies” (which topped the Billboard Hot 100 back in 2009 and just has been certified Diamond for 10M sales in the US), for which he teamed up with singer/songwriter Jordan Rys to put a fresh dance spin on the known track.
Listeners will easily recognize Rys’s take on the much-loved, emotive vocals, while LUM!X first incorporates sparkling melodies and then fuses them with a Drum & Bass inspired drop completed with mixed and chopped lyrics and a dance floor-ready beat. “Fireflies” has both the singalong chorus and hard-hitting bass of a club and festival heater, and it’s already a fan favorite in LUM!X’s sets. Read on for more behind this nostalgic-meets-modern gem from the producer himself:
“From the moment I was a kid, this tune has held a sacred spot in my soul. It’s easily one of my all-time favorites, a cherished gem that’s been a mainstay in my sets for quite some time now. When we got in touch with Owl City and received his stamp of approval for my rendition, I teamed up with the exceptionally talented singer-songwriter, Jordan Rys, to breathe new life into the vocals. The end result not only lures you in with its unforgettable sing-along chorus but also electrifies every dancefloor with an earth-shattering drop that’s pure dynamite.” — LUM!X

HEDEGAARD’s New Lowtempo ‘INFERNO / Ratchets’ EP Incl. Jaw-Dropping Visuals

Danish producer HEDEGAARD returns with his hard-hitting new EP consisting of 2 tracks – brand new “INFERNO” and previously released “Ratchets,” aptly titled after the project’s two tracks. The EP has the musician-turned-DJ/producer’s signature “car music” sound, which he invented back in 2011 by unofficially remixing Dr. Dre’s “The Next Episode” when he fused urban and EDM styles at around 100 BPM, which generated over 24M views on HEDEGAARD’s Youtube channel and was used organically in thousands of video memes back at the time, generating over 200M views in total.
On display from the beginning of the ominous opening beats of “INFERNO,” the track incorporates robotic vocals and bone-shaking basslines with mechanical synths for a distinct video game-esque vibe, which is followed by the more club-oriented “Ratchets,” with its Rap-inspired vocal hook and rhythmic beats. HEDEGAARD also unveiled a stunning 3D, AI-fueled visual show to accompany the EP, which he tested at one of his recent gigs at the Atlas Superclub in Bali to rave reactions.
‘INFERNO / Ratchets’ is out now on HEDEGAARD’s label OneHundred, operating under mighty Spinnin’ Records.
Since the release of an unofficial remix of Dr. Dre’s “The Next Episode” in 2011, introducing the audience to HEDEGAARD’s unique sound, he has produced several of the biggest Nordic hits in the last decade, generating more than – mind-blowing – 1,4B streams across streaming platforms. “Happy Home” with Lukas Graham and “Twerk It Like Miley” with Brandon Beal and Christopher are just a couple of the major hits HEDEGAARD has released and produced over the past years, resulting in several #1 all over the world.
With the release of the single “NYC BABY” and the localized version “BEIJING BABY” – released exclusively in China – he took the top spot once again on the weekly QQ Music EDM Chart. Later on, the single took 2nd place on the quarterly version of the same chart for the entire Q2. The follow-up singles “BORED” and “The Ones We Lost” entered the Top 20 and became HEDEGAARD’s 4th and 5th Top 20 entry in a row, underlining his status as the hottest EDM artist in China.
That status was recently further substantiated by enormous viral attention on the Chinese social media Douyin, where HEDEGAARD accepted a remix challenge from the influencer Sander Kole, resulting in an 8-minute video that has generated more than 71M views and 2M+ likes. The reward for his work does not only come in the form of impressive streaming numbers but has also resulted in nominations at award shows. HEDEGAARD has previously won several DMA awards, DJ and Club Awards, and as the top nominee at the Club Awards 2024 in five categories, and with a big share in a nomination in a sixth category, the feat is second to none in Denmark.
