Another Great New Song By Sarantos - “You (Just) Don't Have It.” The Charity For This One Is Girl Effect
Dating can be such a cruel game. While everyone denies that physical appearance has anything to do with how much they “want” someone else, the sad truth is that it usually does matter. As a teen, young adult or mature adult, dating can be a formidable challenge. Sometimes, though, there are people who do actually care more about what’s on the inside vs. what’s exposed on the outside. This theme befittingly takes center stage in October when Halloween masks are sure to be seen everywhere as people get the opportunity to be someone else for one night of the year. And it sure is fun to pretend to be someone else sometimes, is it not?

This latest Pop song is very playful by nature. No matter how much that perfect stuck-up rich girl wants Sarantos, she just doesn’t have what he really wants. Well, what exactly is that fans ask?? The song goes on to describe exactly what it is Sarantos seeks – a humble human, playful, not lazy, sweet and nice, with passionate eyes… Money and looks aren’t something that Sarantos desires. In the end, they literally do not matter!

“This is a fun top 40 pop song about women who are used to getting what they always want” says Sarantos. “Theses women are popular, famous and rich. But for him, they just don’t have it. They don’t have that one thing that he needs. I think this song strikes at the heart of the bone fide paradox that physical appearance plays in all of our daily decisions, perceptions and motivations. Studies show that attractive people are perceived as smarter, that rich people are seen as more attractive, but what does it all really mean? Who genuinely cares anyway? I’m here to warn you that generalizations like this can lead people to blindly rationalizing preconceived stereotypes while furthering a self-fuflilling prophecy. Oh and by the way, sometimes, there are nice guys in the world who aren’t bewitched by sexy, hot rich girls who just aren’t nice on the inside! They do exist.”

Sarantos recently started using a new social media platform & has many exclusives coming soon:

Sarantos won the Akademia LA Music Awards in 2015 for Best Song (What If I Never See You Again), Best Rock Song (Easy To Believe), Best Rock Music Video (We Accept The Love We Think We Deserve), Best Singer/Songwriter Song (A Mission Of Heart, I Sing), Best Pop Song (I Sing) & Best Pop Rock Album (Not Where I Wanna Be).

Sarantos has won twelve Beat 100 song & music video awards in 2015 and 2014. Sarantos was nominated for the International Music & Entertainments Awards in 2015 for “Rock Song of the Year” and in 2014 for “Rock Song of the Year” and “Pop Album of the Year.” In 2014, he was also nominated for the Hollywood Songwriting Awards for Best Unsigned Song (Are You Sure You Can Last).

Even without a label or radio promoters, Sarantos song “What If I Never See You Again” has been in the top 200 on the majors list in the US for radio airplay according to the Digital Radio Tracker Top 200 charts. On the independent charts, Sarantos is still in the top 10. He’s been on both these lists since early April.

33% of any music-related sales profits from this song are going straight to Girl Effect.

Girl Effect works to break the cycle of intergenerational poverty. They do this by connecting girls to each other and to the critical assets they need. They work to create lasting perception change by harnessing media in innovative ways and building social networks to develop girls’ positive perceptions of themselves and shift how others see and value them.

Get Ready To Hum Along With Roger Jaeger’s Single, “Momentum”

Roger Jaeger
There’s a reason why you should check out an interesting song today, and that song is “Momentum” by Roger Jaeger. It captures the sensation of moving forward without getting caught up in overthinking, so give it a try!

If you listen to it, you’ll notice that this track has a distinct sound, blending Pop, Rock, Country, and Folk elements together, much like the hits of Dave Matthews. But at the same time, the lyrics are all about a relatable tale of true love and the uncertainty that can come with it.

Clearly, Roger Jaeger has a remarkable skill in hitting high and low notes with precision and control, making his singing voice his greatest strength in my opinion.

Needless to say, it’s surprising how “Momentum” can be catchy and stick in your head, causing you to hum along unconsciously. Somehow, the melody also contributes to the sense of nostalgia.

By the way, Jaeger’s music has universal appeal! He has performed at various venues, including Nashville’s Bluebird Cafe and pubs in Ireland.

As a curious note, he even teaches songwriting for The University of The Nations in India. Plus, he derives creative inspiration from his travels and preferred books.

Lastly, it’s worth mentioning the California-based talent got a major performance lined up at Labelcoin House during SXSW 2023. You can find further information below.

MAK’s Song “You’re The Reason” Honors His Mom’s Cancer Battle

MAK

Brooklyn’s futuristic Pop artist, MAK, has released his new single “You’re The Reason, with powerful lyrics, infectious melodies, and an anthemic Synth-Rock beat, this song tells the vibrant love story of a son and his mom. “You’re The Reason” is now available on streaming platforms worldwide and the full-length music video is live on YouTube.

“I had never written a song dedicated to one person and that challenge was quite daunting, but I didn’t go looking for this project, it became apparent that the most powerful love language I had to translate my feelings and emotions to my mom was through this song,” MAK said. The lyrics are deeply personal while telling a universal story that anyone can relate to. “I wrote this song for my mom, but I realized along the way that it was not only for her and I – it could be your mom or anyone in your life that is the reason you are who you are.”

MAK
MAK teamed up once again with his friend and Grammy-nominated producer Yonatan Watts who said, “something just feels right about this track. There are these nostalgic piano chords over an upbeat rock synth and drums that feels sentimental while getting your energy up at the same time. It was the perfect vibe for MAK to celebrate his mom to,” Watts said. He added “as a Pop record, the sound is very much for right now yet the message is timeless. MAK is particularly known for crossing influences of pop, R&B, Reggaeton and electro to make up his unique sound as an artist.”

“You’re The Reason” is also out now as a first-of-its-kind, AI-enhanced music video that takes a storybook tail of MAK and his mom and fuses oil-painted impressionist art, Synthwave aesthetics and artificially enhanced scenes that make this already vibrant track jump off the screen.

MAK credits his mom as the reason he’s developed into the evolving person and artist he is today. Her example and guidance, from an early age, led MAK to pursue diverse interests and develop those talents. Starting the piano at age three and picking up the drums, violin, and choir, MAK went on to play Division 1 football and study at two Ivy League schools.

MAK’s mom, born in Queens, New York, who put herself through Harvard, not only made a career as an elite teacher in the classroom but has also been an elite and compassionate teacher for MAK in the game of life.

As MAK went on to build a career in London and New York City working for the National Football League and launching his own marketing and innovation agency, MAK, who hadn’t picked up an instrument since high school, fell back into music serendipitously. He was invited into a close friend’s studio session as a guest and when convinced to hop in the booth, he was hooked from the moment he heard himself through a recording microphone.

MAK went on to tirelessly work on his voice and his craft and three albums and four years later, MAK is making music for his mom and the world. “I feel so fortunate to have been exposed to so much at a young age and to have found music again and my passion in life. It was my parents, my mom, that nurtured these interests in me and supported me in continuously pursuing my dreams. To get the opportunity to pay my love back to my mom through my music is a treasured gift for me coming full circle.”
