OUT NOW ON BEATPORT
Arno Cost is one of the leading names in the French House movement, and for good reason. Especially in the last year, he solidified his presence as a leader in the scene through a series of massive releases. Among them was “Strong” which Cost released on Size Records, owned by the legendary Steve Angello. A release on such a famed label and great support from fellow DJs and radio paved the way for Arno Cost to join Nicky Romero’s Protocol Recordings family. He remixed Romero’s own “Feet On The Ground” with great success. Most recently, Arno ventured to Insomniac Records with his popular new track featuring Norman Doray, “Rising Love”. His French-influenced, groovy live performances consistently have fans dancing the night away.
This series of successes is reflective of his distinctive skills as a producer; Cost’s sound is a captivating blend of disco and Electronic with some Pop influences, reminiscent of a more exotic Calvin Harris. Arno continues his on fire streak with “Coming Home”, which has the energetic beat, soaring melody and sensual vocals to make it an absolute smash. Interestingly enough, “Coming Home” vocalist James Newman is the brother of John Newman, who sings on Calvin Harris’s smash hit “Blame”. It is safe to say that talent runs in the family, as “Coming Home” is bound to bring Arno Cost to a new level of distinction while thrilling fans this summer.
Marcus Santoro’s Progressive House Gem “Goodbye” Ft. 88Birds
Marcus Santoro returns to Protocol Recordings with his new single “Goodbye,” recorded in collaboration with 88Birds. The track combines all the elements of a Progressive House gem, from upbeat undulating melodies to a driving bassline that transitions perfectly from the radio to the dancefloor. “Goodbye” is his second release on Nicky Romero’s label of the year, directly following “Salvation” with Timmo Hendriks and Able Faces. 88Birds is the artist name of Amsterdam-based singer/songwriter Ira Kustovska, who under a different alias has previously worked with Dosem, Ruben de Ronde, Estiva, Tom Staar, Tim Mason, Cosmic Gate, and Marcus Santoro on their earlier collaboration. Stay tuned for more coming from Santoro on Nicky Romero’s Protocol Recordings!
Marcus Santoro joined Protocol Recordings in 2019 with his remix of Nicky Romero’s “My Way,” followed by the first single release “Shine,” in collaboration with Sentinel. His career got a massive kickstart when his single “There Is Only You” topped the Beatport trance charts and received a phenomenal three plays in a row from Above & Beyond on their Group Therapy radio show – landing Marcus a guest appearance on the show a few weeks later. Afterward, his remix for Shapov & Trouze’s “The Way” on Axtone gained traction from artists and fans alike, leading to more releases on Enhanced, Armada, and Flashover. Since then on Protocol, Santoro has released “Out of My Head” together with Faderx, “Faces” and “Blackout” ft. Lauren L’aimant. Santoro closed out the past year strong with “A New Day” EP.

Try Out This Hot Progressive House Remix Of “Never Thought” By DROZE
DROZE‘s “Never Thought” is soaring to even greater heights through Nino Bellemo’s Progressive House remix. With plenty of energy and melodic wonder, this track will have crowds going wild all night long.
Imagine dancing with strangers and sweating all over each other in a club surrounded by neon lights. For this purpose, DJs not only require a solid music taste but a Progressive House remix that erupts into a blaze of euphoric beats like the one below.
Again, Gonna Be Music’s regular releases keep blowing your mind. And if there’s something remarkable about the new version of “Never Thought”, it’s the integrity of the soulful vocals, which is DROZE’s best asset in my opinion.
Moreover, the talent behind Billboard chart-topping hits was wise enough to collaborate with West Coast DJ and producer Nino Bellemo, whose genuine style has opened doors to important labels such as Nervous Records and Viva Recordings.
And that’s not to mention his outstanding live performances made around the globe.
On a side note, since his transition from bass to a more housey vibe, he took a large step forward outside of his comfort zone.
Lastly, needless to say, the uplifting rendition of “Never Thought” ensures a maximum impact on the masses.

Romeo Blanco Is Back As BLVNCO With Progressive Gem “Same Again”
Romeo Blanco, under his new alias BLVNCO, is back on Protocol with his new track “Same Again,” a Progressive House gem that exemplifies his dynamic abilities as an artist. BLVNCO warms us up with soulful vocals and cinematic melodies before layering in a deep, growling bassline on the new single, delivering equal doses of emotion and darkness. The tension between these two elements is what gives “Same Again” its true appeal. Romeo first released as BLVNCO on Protocol in January with “Do It” in collaboration with DØBER, and performed at the Protocol label night during ADE 2021.
Founded by Nicky Romero in 2012, Protocol Recordings is one of the leading imprints for innovative electronic dance music.
