Believe it or not, seeing Spanish Reggaeton star Bad Gyal live was my first concert after a lengthy five-year hiatus, and my dancing feet were more than ready for it. On December 2nd, Bad Gyal brought her infectious energy to Lima, Peru as part of the “Road To Primavera” concert series traveling across South America.
In the Heart of Lima: Centro de Convenciones Leguía
The concert was held at Centro de Convenciones Leguía, a spacious theater-style venue perfectly sized for the eager crowd. From the moment I walked through the doors, the warm and festive atmosphere among fans was palpable, we were all united in our excitement to experience Bad Gyal’s show.
Moreover, it didn’t take long for the venue temperature to rise once Bad Gyal and her dancers took the stage. Her confident personality, coupled with dazzling laser lighting and sexy choreography, had the entire audience dancing and singing along non-stop.
Generations United in Rhythm
Bad Gyal has rightfully earned her status as one of the biggest names in Reggaeton today. Fans of all ages – from Gen Z’ers to older Millennials like myself who have followed her career from the beginning, collectively lost ourselves in the energy and euphoria of the night.
Of course, the shared love for her Latin music transcended generational boundaries, uniting fans in a rhythmic celebration.

A Night to Remember: Sweating, Singing, and Smiling
Over nearly 90 minutes, Bad Gyal thrilled the loyal Lima crowd with performances of her biggest jams like “Fiebre,” “Flow 2000,” and recent chart-topper “Chulo.” But surprisingly, “Mercadona,” her bilingual track, was left out of the setlist.
Additionally, I was left with the doubt if she teased any snippets from her upcoming album, ‘La Joia’ slated for release in January 2024. All in all, she created an atmosphere of ecstasy that is simply indescribable.

If you get the chance to attend a Bad Gyal concert during her 2024 international tour, don’t hesitate, she’s a must-see performer who will have you grinning, sweating, and dancing non-stop from start to finish.
This Reggaeton queen knows how to put on an unforgettable show, and she left all of us in Lima wanting more…
