Bringing Classy Back: Ways To Wear A Button Up Casually

button-upCommonly, most of us wear T-shirts. These seem to be an everyday staple, but women want to see us look classy even when we’re being casual…

If you’re going out to get messy, then there’s nothing wrong with wearing a t-shirt, but if you’re going out to the mall it’s always nice to class it up just a little bit. Most of us seem to think that we should only wear button-ups for job interviews, dressy events, or with tuxedos, but this simply is not the case. Dawning a button-up and rolling up the sleeves can make you look nicer, without breaking the casual look. So, throw out some of those t-shirts and go invest in some button ups.

What’s even better is that button-ups can be paired with shorts, chinos, or even jeans, but save the sweatpants for the t-shirts, guys! When you’re trying to impress a woman, you can never go wrong with form-fitting dark-wash jeans. Dark-wash jeans can bring any look together with ease. However, if you’re hot-natured or it’s a hundred degrees outside, I’d suggest a nice pair of khaki bermuda shorts or even some colorful chubbies, if you’re into showing off that much leg. If you want to take it to an even nicer level, like if you’re going on a date, I would say to try some chinos because you can never go wrong with a pair of pants that makes your butt look nice.

The great thing about button-ups is that they are so versatile. They come in tons of colors and patterns and they can really be worn for just about any occasion. You can always get creative with your clothing. Now, I’m not saying this is a concept that all men don’t grasp, just that some men don’t. This is for those men who are tired of being overlooked or seen as immature for wearing nothing but t-shirts. You just have to remember that sometimes it pays off to look somewhat classy. You can always go with some timeless classics like a white button-up with black jeans or even pair a navy blue blazer with your outfit.

Just remember next time you’re about to pull out a t-shirt that you can always amp up your look a bit just by adding a simple button-up shirt to the mix. There is nothing special you need to add to make yourself look a little nicer. Go to your closet, pull out that favorite button-up, and rock it.
