CRIMER Gets Soaked In Blood! Take A Look At His Music Video For "Cards"
CRIMER
has been considered one of Switzerland’s most promising Electro Pop artists of 2018. Not so long ago, he released his debut album ‘Leave Me Baby’. In short, the 28-year-old artist sings like Dave Gahan from Depeche Mode, has an uncommon hairstyle and wears strange clothes. Apart from that, what has caught the attention of the public lately is his new music video. I really don’t know if he was running out of ideas for the visuals of his new single “Cards”. Of course, I say this because he gets soaked in blood during a scene at the bar that seems very confusing. From my view, the visual resource said above was probably unnecessary as the song itself is captivating. In this context, he transports us back to the magic of the 80s due to the vintage aesthetics and varied synths. Check it out!

femme fatale

I am not joking, Kiesza will leave you speechless as she plays the femme fatale role in her erotic music video for “Love Me With Your Lie”. The icing on the cake is that this fresh song forms part of her 80s-tinged Electro-Pop album, ‘Crave’.

Directed by 10th Dimension, the clip sees the Canadian artist embracing her confidence wearing sexy lingerie + dominatrix costume. Of course, the magnetism that evokes her choreography could not be absent. Dancers Hannah Johnson and Joell Jackson give the best out of themselves too.

Beyond this, the track itself features a great chorus that will make you sing along. Kiesza’s previous single “All Of The Feelings” got me hooked immediately, but this one truly exceeds expectations. I hope you like it as much as I do.

Cut Copy

Ladies and gentlemen Cut Copy is back! Listen carefully to the recent single, “Like Breaking Glass”, Dan Whitford’s vocals are as powerful as hypnotic. Add to this, their signature Electro-Pop melodies that are still astonishing and a joy to listen to. What grabs my attention is their less is more philosophy on their visuals. The minimalist aesthetic seems to be part of their new visual identity. Despite this, the Aussie band never disappoint their loyal fans. “Like Breaking Glass” will be featured on their sixth studio album. Moreover, lyrics talk about the conflicted feelings of a relationship that has begun to unravel. Not to mention, the 80s vibes, and the magical synths are 100% eargasmic. These guys deserve some kudos for making such nice tracks as usual. Enjoy!

Lyrics

When the world comes down
and breaks in two
I could dance in the silence
and think of you
but love can be cold
our love is cruel
with the light there is darkness
that runs right through

Every heart beats now,
it beats like the sound of breaking glass
every violent breath
hurts, so I know I’m still in love

A heartbreaking song
played for too long now
I’m singing to you
but sinking it’s true, oh
wanna jump out of the car
jump out of the car, oh-oh
but I can’t open the door
can’t open the door, oh-oh

Every heart beats now,
it beats like the sound of breaking glass
every violent breath
hurts, so I know I’m still in love
every heart beats now,
it beats like the sound of breaking glass
every violent breath
hurts, so I know I’m still in love

Now I’m crashing down for you
Now I’m crashing down for you
down for you…

By, by your side
by, by your side
by, by your side
by, by your side

Every heart beats now,
it beats like the sound of breaking glass
every violent breath
hurts, so I know I’m still in love, still in love…

Land’s Album ‘Down By This River’ Is Packed With A Sheen Of Melancholy

Published

Land
The new album ‘Down By This River’ by Italian duo Land, could be the place to start if you’re into modern songs that sound like the 1980s. I would describe the whole record as dark Electro-Pop, with a touch of the classic post-punk/new wave era heavy on synths. Without a doubt, ‘Down By This River’ is packed with a sheen of melancholy too. I can guarantee a deep tuneful singing voice is what seduce listeners from start to finish. Moreover, it would be no exaggeration to say these guys have been compared to the likes of Joy Division and Depeche Mode.

It is a good thing that now more than ever, bands and singers like them are reviving old-school sonic elements such as analog synths and industrial-esque vibes. Certainly, this is an album you can’t stop playing. Land make room for imaginative lyrics that will let you enter into their fantasy world. What makes this album cooler than average is also the futuristic sound. In conclusion, you don’t need a time machine in order to relive old memories when the Golden age hits of synthesizers topped the charts. Today you can enjoy much of that thanks to this compilation of seven nostalgic and unique tracks.

LGBT Artist, Rocki Mara Debuts New Single "Your Body Is Amazing"

Newcomer artist Rocki Mara divides his time among cosmetology and music. It seems the city of Norfolk, Virginia finally has a fresh face within the Indie Pop scene! Armed with an electro-synth groove, the recently launched single “Your Body Is Amazing”, actually has a purpose. It is destined to teaching the power of loving yourself. Additionally, Rocki’s mission is to inspire the LGBT youth to follow their own dreams no matter what.

It is no wonder that he got himself into this musical journey since the start of the quarantine period in May. That’s exactly, what great minds do in order to stay creative. I think today is precisely the right time when cool projects are evidently starting to emerge. On a side note, there’s no doubt, Pop queens such as Lady Gaga and Britney have inspired his style. In the music video, he can be seen in the comfort of his bedroom performing this tune with a lot of attitude. Definitely, “Your Body Is Amazing” music moves our feet and tickles the senses.

Stream In Full ‘TA-DA!’, An Incredibly Unique Album By Lailien

ta-da
For fans of experimental melodies, Lailien truly reflects the uniqueness of his sounds. The Canadian-based magician of music offers a mind-blowing listening experience with his album, ”TA-DA!”. For sure, its title makes justice to the whole material, which seems to be written for a musical. Also, if you pay close attention to each track, it’ll give you theatrical vibes completely.

On the other hand, he’s good at poetic speeches, and his lyrics become authentic stories with intimate depth. Not for nothing, his tracks have been praised by BBC Radio 6, Sirius XM, The Line of The Best Fit, Skope Magazine, MusicExistence, PopDust, etc. Naturally, with over 100,000 plays on YouTube and Spotify, this album is creating an online buzz. Last June, he talked about his most streamed number in an interview with this blog. Of course, I’m talking about the “Fly With You” cover, originally produced and sung by Italian DJ Gigi D’Agostino in the early 2000s. Without further ado, stream in full ‘TA-DA!’ and pick your favorite cuts.
