Danish EDM Artists Making Waves With ‘ADE Compilation 2022’
Snavs and his label Riotville Records gathered some of the finest DJ/producers Denmark has to offer, with the purpose to create a compilation that really showcases what the Danish EDM scene is all about.
It all started with a Riotville writers camp on the west coast of Denmark, where Snavs and the 4 handpicked producers Willone, Foramic, Vosai, and Thykier got together, and laid the foundation for what would become this epic 7-track masterpiece.
The compilation was released in two parts with the 1st part on the 30th of September and the 2nd part on the 14th of October 2022, right before ADE22.
The compilation itself is a testimony to the sheer talent these guys have, which is why a lot of different genres and styles are being put in play. The guys have collaborated back and forth and thereby created a compilation with great diversification, which highlights the individual artists’ skills, strengths, and styles, both individually and combined.
The idea is to create international awareness around these Danish lads and show what they can contribute to the international EDM scene, and are there any better places to do so than ADE? We think not.
The project itself has also received great domestic support, with funding from two greatly recognized music institutions in Denmark, DPA (Danish Producer Association) and KODA.
To wrap it all up, Riotville hosted an event during ADE22 where the guys turned a regular bar into a rave! Absolute epic scenes.
Snavs
Danish artist Snavs is nothing but relentlessly unique in his artistic expression and soundscape, which has been the main factor why he has collaborated with and remixed the likes of Tiësto, Martin Garrix, and Galantis and released on basically all the important labels in the Electronic Dance Music scene. He released through Monstercat, Lowly, Mad Decent, Dim Mak, Big Beat, Musical Freedom, and Barong Family to mention a few.
As the boss of his own label Riotville Records, DJ and producer Snavs has made it his mission to constantly push creative boundaries. Over the past years, Snavs has been releasing three albums, several EPs, and loads of singles, and it seems like his creativity is unstoppable.
His music has also taken him to some of the world’s most prestigious clubs, including Webster Hall (New York), Avalon (Los Angeles), Bootshaus (Cologne), WOMB (Tokyo), Pacha (Sydney), as well as well-known festivals such as Coachella, Tomorrowland, EDC Las Vegas, Eurosonic, Miami Music Week, Amsterdam Dance Event and more.
Thykier
Copenhagen-based producer THYKIER aims to keep pushing the limits of house music. Despite his roots, THYKIER largely found inspiration from the house scene in France. This inspiration quickly led him to his own twisted style of house music. THYKIER has already gained a unique worldwide playlist and live performance support from some of the most influencing artists in the scene, including Martin Garrix, Tchami, Kayzo, Tiësto, Dillon Francis, Malaa, and many more.
Willone
Danish producer, DJ, and formerly one-half of Zookeepers – Willone invites you into a world of hard-hitting electronic productions and beautiful melodies.
Foramic
Danish electronic duo Foramic was formed in late 2018 as a bold venture into the world of modern music. Lucas and met in November of 2018 and soon discovered their mutual passion for bending the rules of Electronic Dance Music. Having released on labels such as Sony, Universal, Actuation, MONTA (Boombox Cartel’s imprint), SlugzMusic, and more as well as gained support from massive artists like Tiesto, Yellow Claw, ValentinoKhan, Snails, Boombox Cartel, and many more, Foramic are a force to be reckoned with.
Vosai
In 2018 Vosai released his debut single (Different angle) since then he has released music through the likes of Lowly and NCS and has gotten supported by promoters such as Trap Nation, Trap City, and many others. There is no doubt that this dane is going places real quick.
