Bringing back these vintage beats is a smart move because it’s been proven that the best melodies are the one that awakens that blissful nostalgia in listeners. No doubt, this funky style has the power to hit hard on radio stations since it’s more designed for the mainstream/commercial scene rather than the underground.
What’s more, the wait for this composition was totally worth it. It’s the perfect dose of music you need to boost your mood. On top of that, the chorus is seriously addictive and makes you want to sing along without even realizing it.
Dazzling Visuals and Electrifying Performance
My favorite part of this new release is definitely its music video, directed by Gustav Stegfors. Shot in Stockholm, Sweden, the land of iconic Pop artists like ABBA and Ace of Base, this clip is truly a gem that belongs on the top charts.
If I’m not mistaken, the intro seems to use a sample from Gloria Gaynor‘s hit, “Reach Out, I’ll Be There.” On the other hand, the visuals will leave you amazed with those flashy lights, special effects, and Darin’s electrifying and passionate performance.
