The song features catchy melodies from M4V3R1CK, known for his sick improvisational skills, has been a frequent collaborator with Xyllicate. “Destiny” is a placid merge of Progressive House beats and synths with a raw musical beauty.
The song is a change from Xyllicate’s more electronic experimental releases. Sick build ups and drops are a perfect complement to the touching melody line. The melody tells a heartbreaking story of the nostalgia in lost love. Despite slowing it down, Xyllicate & M4V3R1CK have created something truly magnificent. The piece is intimate, heavy, and transcendent in sound.
