Devin Kennedy questions happiness in his most recent single, “Happy Yet”. With deep and sincere lyrics, he conveys to listeners to think about the state of joy. Likewise, I would interpret most of his verses as a subtle critique of the Internet culture. While it is true that the Internet is a manifestation of our psyche, and it shapes our reality, the key to true happiness seems to be accepting unhappiness. Beyond this, his rhythmic style is still compelling and enjoyable, as his past singles.
No doubt, the tremendous quality of Devin’s vocals has allowed him to reach millions of streams on multiple platforms. So far, Pop music lovers and playlist curators are praising his work, plus everything about “Happy Yet” is relatable. Check out this new track down here!
