DJ Meetch Wrestles To The Top

FREE DOWNLOAD FROM THE EAST COAST FAVORITE
COMPLEXCITY, the space-themed album by East Coast favorite MEETCH had a lot of people talking and led to features on EDM SAUCE, XL TRAX and BE THE RAVE. Now he is back with two brand new tracks: “Sumo” and “Good Times”.
“Sumo” is a big room house cut laden with the musicality we came to know Meetch for. The chord progressions have a distinct feel to them you don’t hear much in other examples of the genre. Combine it with a minimal-feel drop that’s both effective as pleasurable melodic and we have another winner in the house.
MEETCH: “I was looking for a follow up after my ComplexCity album that kinda throws people off and makes them re-listen to tracks to try and get it. I wanted something simple and catchy that people can easily get down to on the club systems. Sumo was really enjoyable to make and show my friends before the release. It’s a Free Download so I hope a lot of people will enjoy it.
On the other hand “Good Times” is a ridiculous bootleg I did of a recent release track by Ella Eyre. I realized I’ve never heard a young singer so damn good and I really felt the vibe of that song. That was when I took it, messed with it, cut it up and let’s just say ‘Meetched’ it.. I think it happens to be one of my favorites yet. Classic hard electro hits and really smooth switch ups.”
The background story of youngster MEETCH is mind blowing and one of true perseverance. With hearing only left in one ear due to a tragic car accident that nearly took his life, he’s now performing all over the East coast after a remarkable recovery.

MONDO Brings Moombahton Back With New Song “Event Horizon”
Certainly, one thing that defines MONDO‘s music is the use of dark bass elements. We have already experienced his incredibly signature sound on a previous banger called, “El Macuahuitl”. Best of all, he goes beyond his own imagination by spicing up the arrangements with Moombahton. That said, his brand new song, “Event Horizon”, features this Latin-influenced rhythm, but at the same time, it evokes melodies from the likes of Rezz, Gesaffelstein, and Whipped Cream. In conclusion, it won’t be an exaggeration to state that “Event Horizon” will make crowds partying the night away. Moreover, this hybrid is guaranteed to cause mayhem on any dance floor. Check it out for yourself!

SLANDER Remix Kill The Noise’s “Jump Ya Body” As Free Download
After teasing listeners with distinctively melody-driven releases earlier this summer, SLANDER returns to their hard-hitting, party-starting bass sound with their remix of Kill The Noise‘s “Jump Ya Body” featuring vocals by Mercedes. The duo teamed up with up-and-coming Canadian producer Tucker Kreway for the remix, which opens with electro-inspired melodies-almost fooling listeners into believing this will be a tame track-before building to a drop that intermingles stabbing, machine gun-esque synths with grinding basslines. “Kill The Noise has always been a huge influence of ours over the years! After doing our remix for his album back in 2016 we knew we had to do another one sometime in the future and we felt ‘Jump Ya Body’ was the perfect song to update and put our spin on!,” says SLANDER about the remix, which they are releasing as a free download. “Also, it was a privilege to work together with Tucker Kreway on this one! He’s an incredible upcoming talent from Canada and everyone should check out his music!” With rumors of a SLANDER tour in North & South America on the horizon, make sure to stay tuned for more details!

SLANDER first made waves in the scene when they debuted their remix of Showtek’s “We Like to Party” in 2014, coining their unique sound. However, SLANDER has proven they are capable of so much more than remixes and a singular genre. The duo caught the attention of the industry and fans alike with their original productions and an evolved sound, as recently evidenced on “Welcome To The Fire” with Sullivan King, “I Can’t Escape” with SAYMYNAME featuring Feli Ferraro and “Happy Now.” SLANDER teamed up with American Idol finalist Juliana Chahayed on their latest release “So Long,” a catchy future bass anthem with a summertime vibe. Their ability to produce both bass-heavy headbangers and emotionally stirring melodies distinguishes them as talented, multifaceted producers, not to mention their charismatic stage presence. Together with NGHTMRE, SLANDER has made their “Gud Vibrations” event concept into a bonafide lifestyle. In 2018 they sold out their Miami Music Week’s Gud Vibrations Boat Party in less than 3 minutes, and continue to branch out and grow their brand. This is only the beginning for SLANDER, so stay tuned to see what they have up their sleeve next.

Birthdayy Partyy Blend Techno & Electro On J-Kwon’s “Tipsy” Remix
Techno and Electro House elements blend fantastically on this J-Kwon’s “Tipsy” remix. To the surprise of many, Birthdayy Partyy are the creative masterminds behind it. If you’re a reader of this blog you may already know I’m a fan of their remixes of classic songs. Well, the new free remix is no exception. In case you forgot, “Tipsy” was a Hip-Hop hit in the early 2000s. However, this time, Birthdayy Partyy gave it a little twist which features a fun yet dark vibe. On the other hand, there is a certain pattern of this track that reminds me of Destructo’s production style. Check it out and let me know what you think…
