DJ Nina Kraviz’ Favorite Tracks

Published

on

Nina Kraviz, The Queen of Underground Electronic Music reveals her favorite tracks for the very first time!

The track I’ll be opening my next DJ set with
M Pittman – Chicago Nights
As always, simplicity is the key. A good drum machine rhythm track is priceless because that’s what makes your ass shake.

The track I always play to rescue a dancefloor
Levon Vincent – Air Raid
A high-energy ruff killer. Simple as that.

The track I wish I’d signed to my label
DJ Slugo – Freaky Ride
A dirty, cheap, stupid and vulgar ghetto-blaster. Raw sexiness from one my favourite Dance Mania artists.

The ideal festival track
Jared Wilson – This Love
I discovered this track a few years ago at Hardwax record store and since then I just can’t stop playing it.

The track that should have been a crossover hit
DJ HMC – Marauder
This track was released in 2001 but still sounds as hot as if it was baked five minutes ago. Australian techno; weird and just huge. I don’t know if it was ever a hit but this is my all-time weapon.

The best track by my favourite new artist
Amir Alexander – Violence
This track is very rough, weird and noisy. It’s close to being an acid track but it’s not an acid track … and I love the Asian melody.

The track I’d play at sunset in Ibiza
The Other People Place – Eye Contact
I wish to hear this played in Ibiza next summer. If nobody else does it, I will do it myself.

Italian Techno DJ Recovering After Being Stabbed By His Own Father

Published

Italian Techno DJ Joseph Capriati
Italian Techno DJ Joseph Capriati recovers from a stab wound to the chest after a heated argument with his father. Fortunately, the injuries didn’t cause a perforation in his lungs. The confusing incident occurred last Friday at his parents’ home. It is not our business to delve into the family/private problems of artists, however, it is a painful fact not to have the support of a loved one. Of course, this is offset by the infinite love of his millions of loyal followers.

Capriati’s team recently confirmed his rapid recovery in a hospital near the city of Naples.

The Italian Techno DJ who resides in Spain, traveled to his hometown for the holidays to visit his family. Sadly, his reception was steamed with blood. So far, it is known that his father (a 61-year-old retired police officer) has been arrested for attempted murder. Justice will have the last word to clarify this unprecedented event.

Important update, Capriati forgives his father:

New Music Producer From London, AINT Captivates With Downtempo Techno

Published

AINT Site
AINT
is a promising new producer from London. He shares with us one of his recent Downtempo Techno cuts, entitled “Site. From start to end, I would dare to say it is smoothly captivating. Without question, it has been designed to sonically transport you to a parallel dimension.

Its dreamy aspect entices listeners due to the minimal hypnotic sounds on repeat. Furthermore, you can expect a fusion of tranquil oriental-style Ambient music and futuristic soundscapes reminiscent of Vangelis. On top of everything, the artist also has a deep love for Hard Techno and Electro. This means he is on a constant musical expedition and beyond his experimental approach, variety always offers more advantages.

His influences range from Umwelt, James Shinra, Helena Hauff to SAAH, and High Future. AINT may not be on the underground music world’s radar yet, but soon he will bring more surprises to the table. Get more updates on his socials below.

Hurtr has been working their way up in the underground scene since 2010. The music production duo from Portland, Oregon just released “Nu Acid”, and as you can imagine, the title says it all. The seductive vocals from Heidi Hull merge with acid synths and pulsating beats in a hypnotic way. Consequently, this tune could transport you into another realm for just three minutes.

Evoking a sheer sense of joy with its progressive soundscape is the cherry on top. Likewise, “Nu Acid” aims to bring energy wherever it’s heard. Literally, if it doesn’t make your head bang, then nothing will. Throughout its dark and nostalgic rave vibes, these creative artists will leave you captivated. For this reason, all I can say is long live Techno! Take a listen right here.
