DLUX Releases New Mixtape “No Filters” Hosted by DJ Khaled

Published

on

DLUXThe Milwaukee native DLUX receives a huge co-sign from We The Best Music Group CEO DJ Khaled. The momentum created from his first single Bomb Bomb featuring Ace Hood, gave the R&B sensation the ability to reach out and collaborate with artists such as Trae The Truth, K Camp, Paul Wall, and more. No Filters Chapter 1 exposes his singing talent, versatility, and hunger; which are essentials needed for a successful career. DJ Khaled seen the talent and hustle and quickly jumped on board. The drive DLUX possess comes from betrayal, physical, and spiritual torture.

DJ Khaled is backing DLUX 100% by using phrases such as, “the new voice of R&B”, “DLUX brining you that 100% R&B Sh**”, and “DLUX keep winning”. DLUX has been singing and performing for over a decade. DLUX’s story is amazing, he is a miracle child and God has a purpose for him on this Earth. While his mother was carrying him in her womb she tried to induce a miscarriage by throwing herself down a flight of stairs. At the age of two social services took him from his mother due to unfit living conditions. DLUX bounced from foster home to foster home and lived with school teachers on an occasion. As DLUX matured he would be around his mother from time to time but she would not support his talent. When he would sing she would tell him to shut up, beat him, but would take the credit if someone else complimented him. The beatings he would go through was offset from the abuse she would suffer from her boyfriends.

DLUX was able to hone his skills by competing in black history programs, talent shows, and any other opportunity to showcase his talents. DLUX passion and drive comes from his three little sisters that are currently staying with his mother. Two of them sleep on chairs pushed together and one sleeps on the kitchen table. DLUX career took a boost when he connected with Traxx Sanders, a songwriter from the music duo “The Bad Guys”. The chemistry was undeniable and when they added DJ Pain 1’s sound to the mix, they knew they had something special. Shortly they caught the attention of Mel Smith from All In Music and the rest was history. DLUX is proving that he is 2014’s new R&B prince and plan to stay.

Check Out Dylan Owen’s Nostalgic Song “We Were Only Kids Then”

Check Out Dylan Owen's Nostalgic Song "We Were Only Kids Then"
Hailing from NYC, American rapper Dylan Owen premieres a nostalgic song called “We Were Only Kids Then”. Essentially, I really like how his laidback delivery invites listeners to think of happier times. One way or the other, this artist tells the truth of life, and you can tell his storytelling skills are pure gold. Undoubtedly, his introspective lyricism makes each verse as relatable as realistic.

With dope rhymes, Dylan also encourages you to never give up on your dreams and to live the present moment. Besides the retro instrumentation/background, the best part is when children took part in singing the chorus at the end of the track. So far, Revolt TV, PepsiCo, WWE Smackdown, MTV, For Folk’s Sake, and many others have already shown support to his talent. In addition, this is just the first release in a string of new singles for 2020. Listen to “We Were Only Kids Then” and share it with your friends immediately!

Hailing from Washington D.C., Lil Dream is a rapper you need to look out for in 2020. Even if you haven’t heard him before you’ll get impressed by his rapid-fire delivery and flow. Most importantly, he works independently by recording and mastering his productions on his own. In addition, the artist’s 5-track EP, ’86 Nights’ is worth listening to. He keeps up the pace on each song with clever wordplay in sync with the uplifting energy. There’s also a high level of inventive lyricism which adds a touch of variety on this explosive material. Check this out!

Morsifire Brings Emotional Music Into The World, Listen To “Contact” Ft. Emily Afton

Morsifire
& Emily Afton join forces on new single “Contact”. This fresh song has already turned the heads of a number of indie music fans. Definitely, a trained ear will recognize there’s a perfect blend of Rap and a Pop/Rock melody playing in the background. The San Francisco-based artist whose real name is Andrew Seely opts for honest lyrics in each of his compositions. With “Contact” he brings out his most intimate emotions as it is a tribute to his deceased sister.

As a result, I really like how his art can help us to reflect on deep existential questions we all have. Furthermore, this track is almost therapeutic not only for the artist himself but for everyone who might be living similar circumstances. Give it a try above and listen carefully to its message. On a side note, Morsifire puts his heart and pain into more personal songs that will form part of his upcoming album, ”Metanoia’, due out 10-11-19. Follow him on his socials in order to stay updated.

Mikey LikesToday the Hip-Hop community is still riddled with talent, and Mikey Likes is a prime example of this. Definitely, he has put his name on the map particularly with jazzy lo-fi beats. As he quickly rises to the top, he’s navigating the waters with the right flow. Influenced by Dom Kennedy, Mac Miller, Wiz Khalifa, Drake, J Cole, among others, The LA-based artist never loses his good sense of humor. Actually, besides being into the world of urban music, he’s also a natural comedian. Clearly, creativity has no limits for him, nor the subjects depicted in his songs. Hip-Hop isn’t only a culture but also a lifestyle, so his rap verses can be described as motivational, funny, sexy, and at times odes to materialism. Discover his clever wordplay and good lyrical imagination on his latest single “The Nucleus”. Make sure you press play right here!
