Delivering a big-room influenced sound filled with bouncy basslines and driving percussion, “I’m Back” is a guaranteed party-starter and meshes perfectly with the CYB3RPVNK imprint’s sound. The new release is DNF’s third on the label, and first solo release, following his 2019’s “Open Your Mind” and “Touching Me” with the label’s veteran Skytech. In 2018 DJ and producer R3HAB founded his label CYB3RPVNK, a place that embraces the alternative, pushes artistic boundaries and serves as a platform to build up new artists. The imprint is currently home to R3HAB himself and a strong roster of artists, including Skytech, Tommy Jayden, Dropgun, Cityzen, and more. Among them is DNF, who found a home on the label in 2019 and has been making waves ever since. The Polish artist previously released on Ultra Records, Armada, and Sony Music before joining the CYB3RPVNK crew. Other high energy releases from the label early this year are Steve Aoki’s notable remix of R3HAB, ZAYN and Jungleboi’s “Flames” as well as Skytech & Robbie Mendez’s “Overload.”

Le Youth

Fondly referred to as “the people’s DJ” by his most loyal fans, Le Youth is proud to welcome you to the ‘About Us’ experience, a new conceptual run of tour dates designed to bring people together, create intimate moments, and remove the literal and figurative separation between himself and his fans. ‘About Us’ will embody everything Le Youth is at his core: unapologetically himself and fearless when challenging the status quo. For tickets and more info on the recently-announced first leg of the tour, click here.

These won’t be your typical DJ sets. The ‘About Us’ shows will feature Le Youth firmly planted in the crowd (where logistically possible) and attendees will find themselves immersed in a unique setting where they are as much a part of the experience as Le Youth himself. With an all-new production set-up (at the larger events) one time only city-exclusive merchandise and much more, every ‘About Us’ show will encourage fans to leave their inhibitions at the door for a night of unforgettable, unfiltered, intimate musical memories like none other.

Le Youth
“It’s not about me, it’s about us,” he passionately states, accentuating that without you, Le Youth wouldn’t and couldn’t be who/what it is today. With the release of his debut album last year and the culmination of a 3-year sonic journey, combined with a global touring schedule, 2023 will bring Le Youth closer to his fans and community than ever before.

Ushering in a new year of infinite possibilities, Le Youth is proud to kick things off with a brand-new collaboration with Jerro. Featuring vocalist Lizzy Land, “Lost” is out now via This Never Happened.

“Lost” is everything fans have come to expect from Le Youth, uninhibited bliss and creative expression manifested into musical form. The LA-based artist and Jerro combine for a soul-stirring arrangement that radiates warmth. Lizzy Land’s vocals gently embrace the listener’s senses, generating a sense of profound nostalgia while delicately intertwining with a soft, heart-warming bed of instrumentals. Firmly entrenched as a household name in the melodic house genre, Le Youth’s consistent quality is without question.

Stay tuned for About Us Pt 2. and much more music to come.

feel-good

The EDM world is about to be rocked with the latest collaboration between Steve Aoki, Regard, and mazie. The trio creates a feel-good anthem for the city of “New York, something that will entice listeners everywhere!

Prepare to enjoy a fresh production that combines delicious beats, nostalgic vibes, and sincere lyrics. Definitely, the unparalleled production styles from these two geniuses with mazie’s velvet-like soft vocals are sure to get you singing along.

Indeed, her voice is truly mesmerizing, with a rich, warm, and well-rounded tone that is not harsh or overly aggressive.

In my opinion, I believe that this release is one of the most significant in the Dance-Pop genre for this month. And, of course, it also has the potential to be played on radio stations.

Furthermore,  the original lyrics express confusion and frustration in a relationship where the partner only wants to be together at parties and is not showing commitment. Eventually, “New York” is the place to discuss the future of the relationship and clear the doubts.

Overall. the standout feature of the new music video is undoubtedly the futuristic party scene, featuring Steve Aoki as a holographic DJ. This is just a glimpse of what tomorrow’s celebrations will be like…

Hear Nicky Romero’s Side-Project Monocule’s 1st Single Of 2023

Published

monocule only for the night

Nicky Romero is back in 2023 as his alter ego Monocule with “Only For The Night, for which he teamed up with Protocol’s Australian veteran Marcus Santoro and startup artist duo Higher Lane. The new track fits perfectly into Monocule’s underground aesthetic, with ethereal female vocals opening into a steady build-up to a deep, groovy drop with a rolling bassline and progressive melodies. “Only For The Night” pairs nicely with tropical surroundings, strong cocktails, sexy strangers, and dark dance floors, so look out for it in Nicky Romero’s and Protocol artists’ forthcoming festival, club sets, and on the radio airwaves. “Only For The Night” follows Monocule’s “Stargazing” with Leo Stannard and is a strong first release of the new year.

Monocule

After taking the world by storm with early hits such as “Legacy” with Krewella and the #1 single “I Could Be The One” with Avicii, Nicky Romero quickly proved that his talent is ever-evolving and here to stay. After launching his Protocol Recordings imprint in 2012, the renowned performer, producer, and label head continued his personal successes with a string of high-profile releases, ranging from collaborations with Armin van Buuren, David Guetta, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, W&W, Timmy Trumpet and Steve Aoki to remixes for the likes of Robin Schulz, Kygo, Rita Ora, Steve Aoki, Martin Garrix, Jess Glynne and more. While showcasing his label’s roster via his weekly Protocol Radio show, Nicky Romero continues to innovate and evolve, and with his annual “Nicky Romero & Friends” ADE showcase and the launch of Monocule alter-ego, he keeps proving his ability to turn into gold everything he touches.

Marcus Santoro

Marcus Santoro joined Protocol Recordings in 2019 with his remix of Nicky Romero’s “My Way,” followed by the first single release “Shine,” in collaboration with Sentinel. His career got a massive kickstart when his single “There Is Only You” topped the Beatport trance charts and received a phenomenal three plays in a row from Above & Beyond on their Group Therapy radio show – landing Marcus a guest appearance on the show a few weeks later. Afterward, his remix for Shapov & Trouze’s “The Way” on Axtone gained traction from artists and fans alike, leading to more releases on Enhanced Recordings, Armada Music, and Flashover. Since then, on Protocol, Santoro has put out many successful releases, including “Out of My Head” together with Faderx, “Faces” and “Blackout” ft. Lauren L’aimant, “A New Day EP,” or “Salvation” with 88Birds.
