When I talk about remakes, I prefer to keep an open mind. This is especially so when the production duo of Per Drappesen and Thyge Nørgaard aka DRAP give new life to a classic.
Well, these guys paid tribute to The Human League with an edgy Electro Pop version of “Don’t You Want Me”. Of course, here you will miss the 80s-flavored synths from the original.
However, in this case, the new thing is the mix of an acoustic intro + the EDM-like drops. Trust me, the entire track is worth a listen. Interestingly, DRAP’s debut single “I’ll Be Coming Over” hit 400,000 streams on Spotify, and they’re looking to repeat this achievement soon.
