Music has a funny way of bringing people together, sometimes when you least expect it, Blazay the group starts like this, founder member Kevin used to run a nightclub called Blazay many years ago in London, so it’s a name connected with people having a great time partying to top classic tunes, that’s where the name comes from, and that’s what we want people to do. How the group was formed is a bit more interesting, early 2015 I arranged to meet a singer in Barking to discuss working together on some music, I’m originally from Ilford (Near East London, for people who don’t know) so me and this singer went to a cafe/bar to have a little chat about music, while I’m having this meeting I’m hearing someone behind me quietly singing/humming to herself, now as I’m trying my hardest to ignore this and concentrate on the singer who is doing nothing but telling me how great she is and how she should be famous, all I was thinking about was how do get to talk to this voice that I can hear behind me, after 5 mins of this, I shamelessly got up and made the excuse that I had to meet a family friend that I had forgotten about, I quickly walked the singer out of the cafe, to the train station, said my good bye’s and ran back to cafe! it was wrong but it was the best thing I did! or else there would never be a blazay group, at the time I obviously didn’t know this.
The Girl with the sweet sounding humming/singing voice who was sitting behind me is called Daria, I introduced myself and the music projects that I was doing, we had a great meeting and clicked straight away, a few months later we were in the studio recording “I like it” and everything seemed to fit. I remember hearing her vocal on the track and knew that this would work.
We have a characteristic approach to modern electronic music, yet on the other hand however, “I Like It” is anything but another modern electronic, synthetic track that blends in with the hundreds produced by DJ’s every year, we try to be a bit different, were a London-based Dance group with a unique take on house music, infusing it with exotic Bajan (Caribbean) and Eastern European roots which make the sound distinctive, We have many other tracks that show this style of music, we want people to get that feel good vibe back, music to make up get up and express yourself, dance like no one is looking!
When it comes to beats . Blazay Songwriter, Producer, and Creator, Kevin, takes the best of what’s new and gives it that that old-school twist, which means plenty of grooves, rhythms, and melody.
Daria has a noticeable vocal style with star quality written all over it, the 2 of us together make this group into an amazing musically force, The sound is awesome, and I would regard a fairly substantial sub-woofer as an essential component for listening to our music because you’ll want to turn this up very loud. There is something about our combination in music that puts you in a sexy trance that you don’t want to ever come out of! Our first EP is now finished, we are so excited and hope you will be too.

RayRay Releases Ethereal, Bass-Driven Debut Studio Album
Powerhouse Taiwanese artist RayRay releases her first-ever studio album on Barong Family, a ten-track body of work titled ‘Unearthly World’ that serves as a stunning and diverse look into the female producer and singer’s psyche and childhood inspiration. The album touches on a myriad of genres, from Dubstep to Trap to melodic, house, and hardstyle, but is held together with a common thread of ethereality that is reminiscent of the folk tales and fairy stories that RayRay loved while growing up in Taiwan. The opening track, “Wide Awake,” sets a beautifully haunting tone with its emotive vocals and wistful bass, spreading its vein to other titles such as “Hide & Seek” with Nonsens and the lyrically empowering “Butterfly” with RayRay’s fellow Taiwanese JVNA. She then turns up the heat by heading into hardstyle territory with “404,” with rapid-fire basslines and serrating synths that are not for the weak of heart. Records like “Losing My Mind” with Dirty Audio and “Good Girls Gone Bad” with Dysomnia, featuring OGAQUAFINA, rock a four-on-the-floor house beat perfect for booty shaking on the dancefloor. The entire album is a testament to RayRay’s evolution as an artist as she seamlessly transitions between soundscapes. Read on for more on her inspiration behind “Unearthly World”:
“‘Unearthly’ can have a very vague meaning, but I wanted to highlight the fact that it’s a milestone release for me that sonically and aesthetically exists in the same dimension as my previous releases such as EPs – ‘Purple Alien,’ ‘Alien Invasion’ and ‘Alien Mutation,’ among others. With ‘Unearthly World,’ I want to give the listeners and my fans a diversified body of work that stimulates their imagination with a wide range of music genres and invites them to my own unearthly world of RayRay as a seasoned music producer and a singer.” — RayRay

RayRay has landed loudly and exploded onto the international dance scene in the past few years. With gigs at major festivals like Glastonbury, ADE, Tomorrowland, Sonar, and Arcadia, and her purple hair as her signature look. She cemented her status in the scene as a Red Bull Thre3style competition winner and through a series of studio sessions with artists such as Skrillex, Yellow Claw, Steve Aoki, and Atmozfears. All that while honing and training her vocals with voice professionals. After being named on Beatport’s HOT 100 Future Bass/Trap Top 10 List in 2016, her work ethic and signature sound caught the ears of Yellow Claw, who brought RayRay on tour in 2019 and quickly signed her to a management deal and to the Barong Family where she released three EPs: “Purple Alien” and “Alien Invasion” and 2021’s Brand New EP “Alien Mutation.” RayRay’s new home on the Dutch imprint has gotten her name on feverish demand, and today she tours her signature sound all over the globe, creating seismic experiences for her newfound fans. With releases on Spinnin’ Records, Protocol Recordings, Dim Mak, as well as releases on Tiësto’s label Musical Freedom to follow. Despite the pandemic, 2020 and 2021 didn’t slow her down one bit. With the dance scene at a standstill, RayRay started her live streaming channel on Twitch in early 2020 and, within a year, became the top Twitch “Live Music” Streamer, according to IMS Business report. During the same period landing a residency on Tiesto’s Musical Freedom Sirius XM Radio show. 2021 saw her release EPs “Lasergun” with Yellow Claw, “Pump It Up” with Moksi, and “Where Are My Friends” with Sihk, to name a few. Needless to say, RayRay’s spaceship is rocketing across the stars and doesn’t seem to slow down anytime soon.

Don’t Miss Out! Chloé Caillet Serves Up A Housey Jam, “NYWTF”
Chloé Caillet moves into a fun dimension with her new housey jam “NYWTF.” Inspired by the classic sound of Detroit and Chicago House, the melody here calls for arms spread and raised to the skies.
In collaboration with Mikhail Beltran and released via CircoLoco Records, “NYWTF” outstands when it comes to minimal and deep tech beats. Moreover, the mantra on repeat «New York What The Fuck» is so bloody addictive that invites everyone to dance.
Hailing from Paris, France, Chloé Caillet is a rising female producer and DJ whose eclectic style is impressing the underground circles. There’s also something vintage about her music that I absolutely enjoy. Well, who doesn’t?…
Best of all, the music video transports you to the capital of the world, the Big Apple. These visuals are simple but iconic at the same time, showing you the land of the free through retro aesthetics.
I really hope you like it as much as I do.
