Baddies Only’s Hedonistic Lifestyle, Throws Back To His 1st Rave With “I Need You”
American DJ and producer Baddies Only just dropped his third single “I Need You”, a modern club banger with a nostalgic element. The track delivers tech-house influenced style, incorporating a bouncy bassline paired with symbols and other instrumentals to create a high-energy sound born for sinister club parties. The catchy vocal riff in “I Need You” may sound familiar to fans of Steve Angello’s side-peoject Mescal Kid; Baddies Only first heard the vocal during Angello’s set when he first began going to shows, and he’d been waiting to use it in his own track ever since. Check out what he has to say about “I Need You” below:
“About 8-9 years ago, I heard this female vocal sample – “I Need You,” in a Steve Angello’s mix from an artist named Mescal Kid (which ended up being Steve’s alter-ego). It was so memorable because I was at that age when I just started going to concerts and meeting the baddest girls, dancing and partying with them, so my passion and excitement was on overload. I told myself I had to wait for the perfect song to bring the sample back to life and capture that euphoric, nostalgic feeling. We all can trace back to our first or second show/concert where the music and scene really enthralled us. I bring that energy and passion that ignited my love for house music” – Baddies Only
Los Angeles-based newcomer Baddies Only has already made a name for himself in the party circuit; he’s played at clubs and festival destinations around the world, including Mykonos, St. Tropez, Miami, Dubai, Los Angeles and more. His high-energy sound is made for hedonistic indulgences in the form of Club Bad, a concept he has built his brand around. Follow him on Instagram and Facebook to see what he’s up to next!

Kaskade Drops Tech-House Influenced Club Single “Sexy”
Kaskade turns up the proverbial heat several notches with his latest release “Sexy” a real club banger from his upcoming “REDUX 004” EP. Diverting from his more melodic sounds, the icon leans into a more tech-house influence with bouncy, driving basslines and a dirty drop that will set dance floors on fire. “Sexy” incorporates some fun expected touches, such as the catchy vocal riff and piano interlude. It’s no coincidence that the Redux 004 EP has only four tracks, each designed for its own audience. Be prepared for an experience like no other as Kaskade immerses you in the deep, groovy core of dance music. Read on below to hear what Kaskade has to say about “Sexy”:
“If there is such thing as a peak time REDUX banger, it would be my new song, “Sexy.” As the thought of REDUX has matured, so has the music that I make for it. I think about how each song will fit into a set, how it will vibe with the crowd. ‘Sexy’ is a result of that progression. Those who might not understand what I’m doing with REDUX will still be waiting for the drop, but the ones who know… will REALLY feel it when this one slaps.” – KaskadeSTREAM/DOWNLOAD
As a household name in electronic music for nearly two decades, Kaskade needs no introduction. His list of achievements is a mile long: 11 studio albums, 7 GRAMMY nominations, the first solo electronic dance artist to sell out both Navy Pier in Chicago and the Staples Center in Los Angeles, the first DJ to ever secure a Las Vegas residency, and the first electronic artist to headline Coachella. Less tangible but even more important has been his influence on dance music tastes and culture for generations of listeners. Often Kaskade is one of the artists who introduced now-veteran listeners to the genre, and such fans are usually fans for life. In 2019, he worked with multi-award winner Meghan Trainor on “With You” and Gorgon City on “Go Slow,” among solo releases, such as “My Light,” “Come On,” and official remixes for the likes of Alicia Keys, Jennifer Lopez, and Gwen Stefani earlier. Kaskade continues what has become a nostalgic tradition for many dance music veterans and a cherished experience for new listeners. Stay tuned for more news from Kaskade in 2020.

GRAB YOUR COPY
There’s no better way to start the year off by listening to this three-track EP by 2Clic. Free your mind, body, and soul with Tech House music. For that purpose, the Lyon-based producer showcases a gloriously trippy style. Certainly, this exclusive material is designed for underground clubs but you can also enjoy it wherever you are. So, put aside your worries, and just focus on his brilliant organic/spacey sounds.
The first track, “Magnolia”, sees 2Clic in a hypnotic collaboration with Torsak. Together they achieve something described as edgy or unconventional, with gradual changes in sonic textures. Likewise, “Hot” and “Crau” impress with a similar perspective, as he experiments with more pounding drums, atmospherics, minimal elements, and looping vocals. It’s pretty good stuff!
