1 — Your new single “Don’t You Give Up On Me” seems so relatable, what message do you hope it conveys?
“Don’t You Give Up On Me” is a song about perseverance and the resilience of the human spirit in the face of relationship struggles. It’s meant to inspire listeners to confront their challenges with strength and to not lose themselves or their hope, even when considering the tough decision of moving forward alone.
2 — Are there personal experiences that influenced the lyrics in any way?
The emotions in the song are drawn from a tapestry of life experiences and stories I’ve witnessed. While not directly autobiographical, the song is imbued with the kind of emotional authenticity that comes from real, raw human experiences.
3 — How did you balance upbeat melodies in the music with emotive vulnerability in the verses?
To achieve a balance in the song, the music weaves between vibrant, upbeat melodies and the sincere vulnerability of the verses. It reflects the contrast between our external actions and internal emotions, capturing the spirit of resilience through its energetic chorus while maintaining the depth of introspective verses.

4 — In your opinion, which elements in the mix elevate the song’s impact?
The track is uplifted by its blend of classic and contemporary sounds—the punchy 80s synths and the high-energy beats reminiscent of 90s and early 2000s Dance tracks create a textured backdrop that makes both the emotive lyrics and the more robust chorus stand out.
5 — Was it a solo studio endeavor, or did you have assistance from musicians or producers?
The creation of the song was a collaborative studio effort. Working with a producer who shared my vision for electronic music was pivotal. We stripped back the instrumentals and refined the lyrics, drawing on a year’s worth of songwriting experience and self-reflection to finally bring the track to fruition.
6 — Are you considering the release of a music video for “Don’t You Give Up On Me”?
A music video for “Don’t You Give Up On Me” was in the planning stages, with a complete concept mapped out. But with a busy schedule, I decided it was crucial to prioritize releasing the track and to revisit the music video production when the time is more appropriate.

7 — The way you showcase your vocals in this song is remarkable. Did you have any singing training, or is your talent entirely innate?
Thank you for the kind words about my vocals. They are largely self-taught, honed through private practice over the years. Recently, I’ve been working with a vocal coach to refine my technique and broaden my vocal abilities, pushing my talent further.
8 — Where can we expect to see you performing live in the near future?
As a new artist, I’m open to all performance opportunities. Once I have a broader repertoire of songs, I aim to book more substantial gigs, as venues often look for a fuller set list to create an engaging show.
9 — Which artists, whether they are currently active or not, have inspired you the most?
My musical inspiration is drawn from a wide array of artists, ranging from 80s and 90s legends like Depeche Mode, Cyndi Lauper, and Prince to early 2000s Pop icons like Britney Spears and *NSYNC. Their distinct artistic visions, fashion, and unique vocal styles have all left an imprint on my creative identity.
10 — What other passions do you have outside of music that inspire your creativity?
Aside from music, I am passionate about wildlife and am pursuing a degree in wildlife biology. The beauty and complexity of nature not only fuel my commitment to conservation but also inspire my creativity, offering me a wellspring of ideas and a sense of connectedness that I bring into my music.
