RayRay has been building her Hard Techno/Hard Dance arsenal for years, and this latest release, called “My Way,” is a statement of exactly where she stands: loud, uncompromising, and on her own terms.
At 150 BPM and no intention of slowing down, this one’s for those who have never played by the rules! Crank the volume and watch the official video below.
What Is Hard Techno?
Before diving in, it’s worth getting the definition straight, because the genre gets thrown around loosely. Hard Techno sits at the intersection of Industrial and high-energy rave music, built around driving beats, distorted kick drums, and gritty basslines.
It’s got the darkness of traditional Techno but with a rawer, more aggressive edge, often pulling in elements from Hardcore. In other words, it’s the kind of music that doesn’t ask for your attention; it takes it.
The genre has been surging globally over the past few years, moving from underground warehouse raves to mainstage festival slots, and producers like RayRay have been right at the front of that wave.
“My Way” – Lyrics, Video, and the Rebel Statement
The lyrics of “My Way” say it all from the first bar. It’s not a hook, it’s a warning: she’s fearless, and she’s already miles ahead of everyone else in the room. There’s zero negotiation, zero hesitation. Move or get moved.
Moreover, the music video delivers the same energy visually. RayRay appears in a hoodie, black shades, and her signature green hair, shot in a jail cell and against the stark backdrop of a most-wanted photo station, like a mugshot for someone who doesn’t apologize for anything.
The dark studio sequences reinforce the same mood: this isn’t a polished Pop setting, it’s a confrontational space that fits the track perfectly.

The baddie rebel attitude runs through every frame. The whole visual concept ties directly back to what Hard Techno actually is at its core, music for people who don’t fit the mold, made by someone who’s never pretended to.
Finally, Hard Techno has plenty of artists right now, but RayRay brings something extra to it. A genuine trajectory, a global stage presence, and a production approach that continues to evolve.
