Horse Meat Disco Brings Back Funky Vibes On “Love If You Need It”

Published

on

Horse Meat Disco, the DJ collective from London returns to stardom with “Love If You Need It, featuring the sexy vocals of Fi McCluskey. Funky vibes command you to dance like John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever. Following the release of the debut album ‘Love And Dancing,’ these producers unleashed a new single filled with tension and elegance. When referring to comparisons, the first thing that comes to mind is “Groovejet,” a popular Disco song by Spiller and Sophie Ellis Bextor.

Nevertheless, “Love If You Need It” is less monotonous and the lyrics are more elaborated, emerging victorious as a danceable romantic anthem. Surprisingly, Horse Meat Disco’s main objective is to revive the classic funky vibes from scratch, without resorting to sampling old pieces of vinyl like most producers do these days. In other words, that’s exactly what I call authenticity, something that deserves to be highlighted in this article. It goes without saying they are always on the right path, and I still yearn to see them DJing live if I ever travel to the UK someday.

I forgot to mention, “Jump Into The Light” is another good track of them you should check out and play it all night long.
