House Music Will Never Die

Published

on

Historians who study music, believe that the era of Disco ended in 1979 when The Disco Demolition Night event took place in a big stadium at Chicago. Do you want to know, what exactly happened that night? Well, let´s take a look back at The Disco Demolition Night.

Today, those 10,000 protestors are ugly, old and fat lol. Fortunately, Disco music still exists with another name HOUSE MUSIC, which is a style of electronic dance music, that originated in Chicago. The rhythm of House music became a phenomenon in the mid-80s and is still active in our present days. On every August 10th, Chicagoans celebrate The Day Of House Music. It was possible thanks to the Mayor Richard M. Daly who proclaimed the cultural festivity in 2005. House music will never die, there are more than six subgenres and people from all over the world dance House music because it´s fun and so fuckin’ amazing too.

DØBER & CHOCO
DØBER
teamed up with his fellow Dutchman CHOCO for his hard-hitting latest track “Freaky”, and you’ll want to buckle up for this one. The single, which is part of DØBER’s “Twisted” EP, represents his new sound with an emphasis on electro house and tech influences. With its driving, percussive basslines, and grimy synths, “Freaky” is made for grooving on dark dance floors and turning up your night. No stranger to club music, the new track follows up his recent release “Tear the Roof,” another heavy cut that differed from his previous releases. DØBER has one of the more intense sounds on Protocol as they continuously expand and diversify their artist roster. CHOCO, privately a stuntman, also had successful releases on Spinnin’ Records and Armada Music as well as collaborations with Nevve, Angel Taylor, Julian Jordan, and Kriss Kross Amsterdam, and he makes his debut on Protocol with “Freaky.”

Riot Ten Teams Up With TikTok Star Charly Jordan On “Wanna Go”

Published

Charly Jordan
Channeling the emotions of the open road and joys of exploring new destinations, Riot Ten teams up with Charly Jordan on the effervescent track “Wanna Go”. It leads off Riot Ten’s BLKMRKT project, which sees the bass producer take a deep foray into the world of house music.

STREAM/DOWNLOAD

This new collaboration is a testament to the versatility and creativity of the two producers, as they deliver breezy summertime vibes and infectious vocal melodies. Riot Ten’s heavy-hitting dubstep from his “Hype or Die” releases is nowhere to be found. Instead, the Texas-born producer continues to experiment with the house sounds he established earlier this year on “Lost Your Mind.” “Wanna Go” also serves as the second single ever from social media influencer and rising DJ/producer Charly Jordan. A few months ago, she officially entered the music industry via “Blackstrap Molasses,” which harmoniously fused pop and dance music. Check out what Charly and Riot Ten have to say about their unique collaboration below:

“Charly and I met via a mutual friend of ours. She thought we could create something cool and decided to make the introduction. Once I heard Charly’s vocals, I knew this had the potential to be a huge record. It’s honestly one of my favorite songs that I’ve worked on, and it’s so different from what I typically release. Can’t wait to hear the response!” – Riot Ten

“‘Wanna Go’ is a song that represents my never-ending desire to want to see new places. Traveling has been a passion of mine my entire life, and being able to put that into music with that tropical feel of house music was an amazing process. Having also listened to Riot Ten’s music for a very long time, I’m happy we were able to vibe and make this song together.” – Charly Jordan

Born and raised in El Paso, TX, Riot Ten exploded into the world of EDM at the young age of 22. Joining the Dim Mak Records family in 2017, with additional music out on Never Say Die, Insomniac, Bassrush and Excision’s “Rottun Records”, Riot Ten blasted off with four #1 top 100 dubstep singles and his music can be heard around the world from the likes of DJ Snake, Zeds Dead, The Chainsmokers, Excision and many more. The 2017 single “Fuck It” became a staple on The Chainsmokers’ “Memories Do Not Open” tour. This success helped pave the way for “Rail Breaker”, his global smash in 2017, to become one of the most played out dubstep songs of the last decade. The single continues to see support at nearly every major festival from the biggest names in dance music. Following the release of “Rail Breaker”, Riot Ten dropped his debut EP with Dim Mak called “Hype Or Die: The Dead” in 2018, which recorded a top 10 debut on the iTunes dance album charts, a feat seldom seen by an artist in the genre. He recorded another top 10 debut on the iTunes charts in 2019 with his debut album “Hype Or Die: Nightmares.” Outside of the music, Riot Ten has continued to record sell-out shows domestically and internationally, touring the infamous “Hype Or Die” brand for its 2nd straight year. He has also played EDC Las Vegas, Coachella, Nocturnal Wonderland, Electric Zoo, EDC Mexico, Lost Lands, EDC Orlando, Global Dance Festival, Electric Forest, Bass Canyon, Imagine Music Festival and more.

American born female artist Charly Jordan brings her creative direction into house music, with her unique travel background and cultural accents felt through her style. Charly was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she was surrounded by some of the best entertainment and music in the world. Growing up, she pursued a career in track and field, which later flipped into a successful modeling/ creative directing career, collectively gaining around 3 million followers across social media platforms at just 21 years old. Now stepping into singing and songwriting on her own tracks, after years of traveling around the world, her unique taste is a culmination of different house styles. With her first single now out “Blackstrap Molasses,” more can be expected from this new, young artist.

Hear This Lockdown-Inspired Song, “Freedom In Your House Arrest” By 2LD

Published

lockdown-inspired song
Since the start of the pandemic, artists never stopped pursuing their creativity. So, don’t put away your dancing shoes, this lockdown-inspired song titled “Freedom In Your House Arrest” is right for you. By all means, 2LD felt the need to highlight a retro 90s housey vibe. In addition, the project combines elements of Reggae in order to get an intense feeling of pure joy on this track.

Likewise, lyrics will have you philosophizing about the true meaning of freedom in relation to the outbreak of COVID-19. On a side note, those powerful vocals belong to David Sladek, while the talented NHOAH, known for his gold and platinum music awards, contributed to the production process. Clearly, together they’re spreading positivity and good vibes. Therefore, if clubs were open today, I think “Freedom In Your House Arrest” will blow the speakers no matter what. Fafaq Debuts On CYB3RPVNK With G-House-Inspired "I Want That House"

Newcomer Fafaq makes an epic debut on CYB3RPVNK with his G-House style single “I Want That House”, in collaboration with fellow Polish artist Fake Jake and Dutch singer Saga Bloom. With a sluggish, bouncy bassline and a funky downbeat, “I Want That House” draws influences from urban and underground styles. When combined with Bloom’s sultry, come-hither vocals, Fafaq and Fake Jake will drive you into a frenzy that leads straight to the dance floor! He comes to R3HAB’s imprint after taking a four-year hiatus to reinvent his sound, and now Fafaq is back and ready to become a household name.

In 2018 DJ and producer R3HAB founded his label CYB3RPVNK, a place that embraces the alternative, pushes artistic boundaries and serves as a platform to build up new artists. The imprint is currently home to R3HAB himself and a strong roster of artists, including Skytech, Tommy Jayden, Dropgun, Cityzen, and more. The newest among them is Polish up-and-comer Fafaq, who first erupted onto the scene in 2015-2016 with a series of popular releases on Spinnin’ Records, including “Tiger” with R3HAB, “Fever” and “Indigo” with Yves V, and “Pillowfight” with Bassjackers. His singles “Stay” and “Teenage Crime” were featured as the main theme of Tomorrowland Unite 2017 and Tomorrowland Winter 2019 after-movie. Now that Fafaq has joined R3HAB’s family, we can’t wait to see what he comes up with next!
