Interview | Questions & Answers With Bruno Martini
This interview with Bruno Martini enables us to find out more about him. Lately, the success of his most recent singles caught my attention. Likewise, the music video for “Sun Goes Down” looks amazing, and he felt proud that it was filmed in his homeland. If you are looking for contemporary dance music, you’re in the right site! Read all his answers below.

1 – How did you learn to produce and remix music?

Basically, I was born inside the studio because my father also works with electronic music and he has a music studio in Brazil. I started to play guitar when I was 8 years old. When I was 12 years old I had my Rock band with couple of friends and then I started to produce at my father’s studio. After that, I signed a contract with Disney and we released 2 albums together. One of my tracks was part of a Disney Movie, and also some tracks were used for TV Shows.

2 – I loved the music video for your latest single “Sun Goes Down”. Where and when was it filmed?

I tried to show my country to the World, so I decided to shoot the video in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil 2 months ago.

3 – What are some funny anecdotes you can share about filming this clip?

Isadora is the singer of “Sun Goes Down” and she’s from Rio. So, she brought a lot of friends to shoot the video. It was really cool. Her grandparents were at the shoot as well dancing the whole time.

4 – How proud are you of reaching 7 million streams on Spotify? Can you repeat this success with the upcoming singles?

I’m really grateful. “Sun Goes Down” has more than 10 million streams, “Hear Me Now” has more than 230 million, “Never Let Me Go” has more than 39 million and “Living On The Outside” has more than 7 million. I’m very happy to see that and I’d like to thank everybody for the support on my music. To be honest, I don’t think about the success, I just love music.

5 – What new songs will come out this year?

I have a lot of new music. I think I have more than 15 songs ready to release. I’m working on some collaborations which will surprise a lot of people.

6 – How long did it take you to remix JP Cooper’s new single “She’s On My Mind”? What software or tools did you use?

There’s no formula for music. Sometimes I make 3 different songs in one day and sometimes I go to my studio and nothing happens. I work with Pro Tools.

7 – We know you have shared stages with the likes of Steve Angello, Hardwell, and Galantis. What is the best music festival you’ve ever attended? Why?

There are no best music festivals, they are different. It’s a big celebration for music and it’s all about unity people and share love.

8 – Where can we see Bruno Martini performing live in the next months?

I’ll be performing in Norway in a festival called Finding Festival, then I’ll be back to Brazil for 2 shows, then I’ll go for my USA/Canada tour starting at Electric Zoo in New York.

9 – If you were not an artist, what would you be doing?

I just finished my university. I got my degree in civil engineering.

10 – What advice would you give to an aspiring music producer?

Stick to your own music, your own sound. That’s the way to get there.
