The Los Angeles-based duo, Jack & Jack takes you back in time with a rad retro music video shot on a VHS tape. You won’t be able to resist grooving to the irresistible beats of “What Happened?” which feature bright synthesizers and even some rapping!
On a side note, the visuals capture the most epic moments of their last live show at The Peppermint Club in West Hollywood. Of course, they also add their authentic touch with their great sense of humor.
Naturally, using a cool VHS music video to promote new releases is a genius move because of its vintage appeal and its ability to stir up memories from the good old days. No doubt, filming in this format allowed Jack & Jack to experiment with something unique and rare, setting their clip apart from the polished look of modern ones.
Back in the day, VHS tapes were the norm, shaping how people enjoyed media. So, I bet nostalgic souls still yearn for those classic vibes…
Currently, the huge Jack & Jack fan base is totally loving “What Happened?.” And I gotta say, this jam is just the kind of anthem that’ll have you singing your heart out, till your lungs can’t take it, ’cause those lyrics are so darn catchy!
