Jason Caldwell is a singer and songwriter based in Atlanta, Georgia. He is passionate about music since he got his first guitar from his father at an early age. Time passed and today he has taken very seriously his artistic career. His latest endeavor is a three-track EP called ‘Black White Dark Light’. I like the play on words with the title of this new EP, which deals with dark subjects. The first two tracks feature fast and heavy riffs, and I think they sound extremely loud, however, for Heavy Metal fans this is naturally good and they are used to this rhythm as well. On the other hand, “The Devil Laughs At Me”, contrasts with the previous tunes, and it’s the element of surprise. Definitely, there’s some sort of mellow or slow opening that gradually increases and is transformed into a Rock song. I find it relaxing for some reason. Well, I must admit it’s my favorite one from ‘Black White Dark Light’. Listen in full below and get your own conclusions.
