Joakim Molitor Drops Official Remix For The Rasmus

Out now through Scandinavian label Playground Music is an outstanding reworking of “Paradise” from wildly popular Finnish band The Rasmus. With the group’s recent single amassing well over a million Spotify streams already, it has been officially handed to Stockholm-based producer Joakim Molitor for remix duties.

Known for his melodically rich sounds, and having already remade tracks from the likes of Dragonette and Eric Saade, Molitor’s work on “Paradise” is as sharp as ever. With a lilting quality that moves with dynamic fluidity, “Paradise” is still centered on its soulful vocals, but also carves out a bubbling electronic bassline that is supported by groove-laden synths and subtle percussive hints.
