Kaskade’s “Love Like That”, 1st Single From Upcoming Redux 004 EP

Kaskade's "Love Like That", 1st Single From Upcoming Redux 004 EP
Kaskade
welcomes the return of his iconic Redux tour’s and EP’s fourth edition with the premier track “Love Like That”, featuring singer Dani Poppitt. However, this is much more than just another love song; Kaskade expertly works his magic with after-hours worthy basslines and a haunting piano riff that you won’t be able to forget. Woven together with Poppitt’s sultry, soulful vocal performance, “Love Like That” evokes images of blissful, balmy nights in dark rooms dancing with beautiful strangers – an experience that a ticket to the four-city Redux 004 tour guarantees. Kaskade will touch down in Miami, San Diego, Sante Fe, and Brooklyn between March and May, and it’s no coincidence that the Redux 004 EP has only four tracks, each designed for its own audience. If you’ve been lucky enough to secure a ticket to one of the immediately sold-out shows, be prepared for an experience like no other as Kaskade immerses you in the deep, groovy core of dance music in an exquisitely intimate atmosphere. Read on below to hear about Redux 004 and “Love Like That” in his own words:

Kaskade about Redux:

“Redux started out as an intention for people to experience big sound in a small environment. It’s not an era of music but a prescription of mood. If you’re closing your eyes and your phone hasn’t crossed your mind, you’re doing it right. Stripped down from the sense assault we’ve all become accustomed to, Redux relies on the sound and basic, well-curated lighting to impact its audience. The concept has been able to stretch, breathe and grow, and with every show I learn a little bit more about what it can be. With Redux 004 EP I’ve created an EP that is designed for each city I’m playing. The music should cross boundaries. It’s not an East or West Coast sound, it’s specific to each audience. There will be 4 songs, there are 4 cities on the tour, and the EP will be released in full on 04.04”

Kaskade about “Love Like That”:

“When I was producing “Love Like That” I knew it needed to be more than just another love or love-lost song. It has this piano hook that is meant to work its way into your psyche, and hopefully, people will just be humming it without even knowing what they’re referencing. Lyrically, the song has this ability to be an in or out of love gymnast. It is one of those pieces where you can’t decide if you want to break up with this song or get married to it.”

As a household name in electronic music for nearly two decades, Kaskade needs no introduction. His list of achievements is a mile long: 11 studio albums, 7 GRAMMY nominations, the first solo electronic dance artist to sell out both Navy Pier in Chicago and the Staples Center in Los Angeles, the first DJ to ever secure a Las Vegas residency, and the first electronic artist to headline Coachella. Less tangible but even more important has been his influence on dance music tastes and culture for generations of listeners. Often Kaskade is one of the artists who introduced now-veteran listeners to the genre, and such fans are usually fans for life. In 2019, he worked with multi-award winner Meghan Trainor on “With You” and Gorgon City on “Go Slow,” among solo releases, such as “My Light,” “Come On,” and official remixes for the likes of Alicia Keys, Jennifer Lopez, and Gwen Stefani earlier. Now spearheading the fourth Redux tour, Kaskade continues what has become a nostalgic tradition for many dance music veterans and a cherished experience for new listeners. Stay tuned for more news from Kaskade in 2020.

Skytech's Twisted/Dark Big-Room "Bubbly," Out Now On R3HAB's Label
Skytech
is back once again on CYB3RPVNK with his new single “Bubbly”, which finds him exploring a darker but still party-ready sound. The Polish artist has become well known for his big-room, progressive style sound, which he’s exemplified on recent releases such as “Skymelody” and “Not Alone” with Twisterz; “Bubbly” fuses this with a bouncy, tech-influenced bassline and distorted vocals. Skytech continues to be one of the most exciting artists on R3HAB’s cutting-edge imprint, and he’s clearly always got something up his sleeve. This booty-shaking track will have you moving on the dance floor – even if the dance floor may be limited to your living room at the moment!

Mateusz Dziewulski – better known by his artist name Skytech – is already a household name in his home country of Poland, and the rest of the world is soon to follow. His name first appeared on the map when R3HAB discovered his original track “Tiger” and then helped Skytech to put final production touches on it, proving to be a winning team after “Tiger” skyrocketed to over 100M streams on all platforms. Since then, the two have worked on numerous tracks together via the CYB3RPVNK imprint, such as “Fuego,” “What You Do,” “Hyperspace,” “Starflight,” and more, fusing their sounds to make music that is club and festival-friendly while never sacrificing substance and soul. Skytech also remixed R3HAB & ZAYN’s hit “Flames” last year. CYB3RPVNK is off to a strong start in 2020, so keep an eye out for more music from your favorite and new artists coming soon!

Soulvation’s “Gonna Make You Feel It” is both minimal and funky with its strong kick drums, before Mosimann & VY•DA close the EP with their brooding, melodic house gem “Waiting to Run.” The project is a new venture from Protocol, and it’s safe to say we are here for it! Kaskade & Project 46 Team Up On "Chains" (A Follow-Up To Their 2013 Hit "Last Chance")
Kaskade
and Project 46 once again joined forces for their new track “Chains”, a cathartic sonic journey through the myriad of emotions that are so prevalent in our lives today. It begins with angelic vocals crooning the line “Running out of ways to run away, I cover it up, but I can’t escape,” setting the stage for a progression of gentle melodies and rolling basslines into a bouncy, big-room influenced climax. “Chains” pulls at the heartstrings of anyone who has felt trapped or restrained in life, either by others or themselves. By the time the track’s drop comes, it’s as if the chains themselves have been released, and the weight has been lifted. “Chains” is Kaskade & Project 46’s follow up single to 2013’s “Last Chance,” the opening track from Kaskade’s “Atmosphere” album and Project 46’s most-streamed single to date.

be okay

R3HAB teamed up with British pop sensation HRVY for his new single “Be Okay”, a dance-pop gem that is sure to lift your spirits. With organic, breezy melodies that softly roll into a groovy breakdown, “Be Okay” evokes images of those times spent with loved ones and friends old and new that can seem so far away given the current state of the world. HRVY’s soulful vocals give the heartfelt lyrics life, and the track’s accompanying music video is just the type of feel-good content we need right now. The song sends a simple and yet powerful message – that we’re all in this together, and everything is truly going to be okay. R3HAB and HRVY weight in on the new single below:

“When Harvey reached out to me, I sent him the song, and he recorded his vocals in no time. From the first time I heard it, I knew we had something special to give to our fans. I hope they like the end result as much as we do, and ‘Be okay’ will make the quarantine period more bearable for everyone who listens to it.” – R3HAB

“I heard this song months before I recorded it, and it put a smile on my face. I reached out to R3HAB to be on the song and recorded it to see how I sounded. Everyone really liked it, so I’m super excited to see “Be Okay” coming out. I hope this puts a smile on everyone’s face during quarantine, excited for the video too, as its a homage to the fans.” – HRVY

Over the last eight years, the Dutch/Moroccan artist Fadil El Ghoul – better known as R3HAB – has established himself as a leader at the forefront of modern electronic music. His talent has been called the “future of the craft” by the likes of Forbes and Billboard, and he’s circuited the globe’s best clubs and festivals, all without the backing of a formal record label. In 2017, R3HAB independently released his debut album “Trouble” through his imprint CYB3RPVNK, which amassed over a half-billion streams globally and officially placed R3HAB among electronic music’s heavy hitters. He made number 14 on DJ Mag’s Top 100 list in 2019, topping the charts with tracks like “Lullaby” and “Hold On Tight,” while his sophomore album “The Wave,” revealing more complex, emotional and experimental layers of himself, has amassed over 250 million streams on Spotify alone. In 2019 R3HAB’s “All Around The World” with A Touch of Class quickly became his biggest ever record already topping 200M streams across platforms and achieving gold & platinum status in 8 countries. It was followed by “Flames,” R3HAB’s collaboration with ZAYN. Stay tuned to see what this ever-evolving artist has up his sleeve next!
